1. The Transfer of Otonokizaka High

It was the day of Summer when the Sakura Trees started to get thinner amd thinner with each moment. The sun's rays grew brighter and brighter as it crawled to my bay window until I felt the warmth to my face.

"Cai! Get up! Don't make me go in there!"

The voice seemingly came underneath my bed. Maybe it came downstairs? I have no idea. I opened my left eye to check what was going on. It was already morning. The melodies of the birds began to play nearby after opening my eyes. Suddenly, I heard someone going up the stairs. The steps were heavy as if Godzilla was heading to a bathroom rush. I jumped on my bed and yelled

"Alright! I'm awake! I'm awake!".

Sheesh. So much for starting a New Day and most importantly, a new self. I stretched my arms up high and imagined reaching the stars in the most literal way. Time for a clock check. I reached my glow-in-the-dark clock and it was only 5:45. It was not even on the alarm time yet. I wish I could close my eyes for a bit longer and crash down to my sacks once more.

I reached for my towel and hanged it on my shoulder for a while and approached the window. The day was already perfect for my perfect start. The trees swayed side by side after passing through the trees and to my window. I breathed deep and decided to take a bath.

With not so much of a hurry, I've reached for my casual clothes because, my mom told me the school uniforms were out of stock. After a few stress free minutes, I went downstairs and the breakfast was already ready.

"Hi mom." I greeted her cheerfully. "Eat up. You'll be late for your new school." she said without even making eye-contact because she was too busy arranging her documents.

"I'll be heading out first. I'm late for work." she rushed to the door after a last sip of coffee. I really don't mind that I was going to be late because that was impossible. After finishing mom's delicious breakfast, I also drank my mom's unfinsihed coffee. Never waste food. There was still enough time for me to clean up and wash the plates.

I stepped outside the door and bid goodbye to my dog and made sure I didn't left anything. I locked the gate and walked away.

"Otonokizaka huh? I wonder what awaits me there. I wish I can make friends as much as I could. Probably join a cool club where I can play hard as much as I will enjoy. This was definitely the new path I have chosen." I muttered to myself.

But something was missing, there were no guys around. I didn't mind me though. Coincidential maybe? This was suppose to be the time to befriend someone with same interests. After all, people with same interests makes me comfortable.

"Who is he?" I heard a loud whisper behind and looked back. I knew that it was rude of me to barge in other people's conversation but the problem was, I was the one being talked about.. I think. The moment I checked who they were, the 2 girls immediately ran forward without even looking back.

I haven't got a single clue what were they talking about but I felt something wasn't right. Still, I took it out of my mind and continued walking. It will take more to turn the tables from a good to a bad day.

After a very long walk, I saw a very big building. I also a signage on the gates and read it aloud.

"Otonokizaka High School". I finally reached my destination and longer than I expected. But it didn't bothered me at all, not one bit. For the day was just getting started!
