1. The Dare

Kai got home late again. He shut the door and locked it quietly . Seems like other members have fallen asleep. He was so tired. Guiltiness built inside of him . He can't even focused on his dances. Sometimes, the other member would noticed how he spaced out since the day nobody knows what happened to him. The group's leaders, Suho and Kris, would asked him what happened? or what going on? He's just ignore the questions or just changed the subjects so they dont mind asking him again.

He threw his bag on the black long couch that in the center of the living room with flatscreen tv . Seems like his bag hit someone that made him grunt. He peek at infront of the couch and saw Sehun fallen asleep with Chanyeol again after playing video games.

In your face, bitch he thought.

He sigh in desperation. Why does Sehun always being loved ? Well, he is the maknae in this group.

Kai took a decision to not wake them up. He walks toward the kitchen. Seems like Kyungsoo is still awake. He can tell that Kyungsoo is cooling by the smell of omellete fried rice.

"Oh- You're late again. Come, I cooked you something" Kyungsoo said as he serve a perfect plate of omellete fried rice on the white marble table.

"Thanks, hyung." Kai said and sitted himself and also Kyungsoo who sitted next to him. He took a little spoon of the omellete fried rice. Then spaced out again.

"Why, Kai? Is there something wrong? You seemed to spaced out again." Kyungsoo asked as he looked at Kai.

"Nothing, hyung. It just your omellete rice is so good" Kai said getting back to reality. He smiled at Kyungsoo and ate his food.

"If you want to talk, I'm here for you." Kyungsoo said and left the kitchen to bed. Kai felt grateful to have a careful hyungs who take care of him. Somehow, he felt unfair when it comes to him and Exo's maknae, Sehun. Ever since they lived together, he felt his hyung loves Sehun more than him. Sehun always stealing his bubble tea but, his hyung just let it be.

There's this tiny space deep in his heart telling him that he kind of hate Sehun. He doesnt seems to care cause he worked harder than Sehun.

After eating and thinking, Kai wash his dishes and cleaned everything after Kyungsoo cooked. He felt happy that Kyungsoo is more understanding him than his other hyungs. After that, he goes upstairs to his room. His roomate, Kyungsoo, is already in a deep slumber.

Kai cleaned himself after all the dance practise . He dropped himself on his bed that made the bed squeak a bit. He looked at the empty ceiling again, he spaced out. Thinking the day about a year ago.

Flashback, a year ago.

Kai and Taemin have a hard time practising their dances. They were clothes is kind of sweaty after practising. Droplets of sweats can be seen through their face, hair, back and neck. Together, both if them laying down next to each other on the dance floor, breathing heavily.

"Kai, let's play truth or dare." Taemin said looking up the empty ceiling.

"Too tired" Kai replied as he closed both of his eyes .

"Please, Kai, pleaase~" Taemin pleaded as he making a puppy face.

"Whatever, I choose dare, will you shut up?" Kai said rolling himself to the other side.

"Okay ! I dare you to date with the school's freak !" Taemin said and stand up.

"You mean Ga Eun?" Kai sitted himself and furrowed his brows.

"Yeah, you know her?" Taemin asked but Kai just kept quiet.

"Before school's holiday and new year of 2014 is coming, I dare you to make her confess that he likes you before New Year." Taemin said and giggled a bit as he drank some water that he bought before practise.

"But, if you tend to fallen in love with her, I swear, I will never be your friend who fallen for a freak" he added.

End of flashback.

Kai tossed and turn.He couldn't sleep. Thinking what he have dealed a year ago. Well, he already sucseeded the deal. He won. But one thing that he couldn't express. He was mad, crazy somtimes he would knocked himself to the wall and blood came out from his forhead.

Ga Eun... I'm sorry..

For all the days we spent, I've actually liked you before the deal.

I liked you.. Whenever I see you, the would be raw of lights like you were sent from heaven and made for me.. I should've lose the deal but both of you and Taemin are important to me..

he thought as tears began falling, and soon pouring. He was speechless yet he wanted to scream his heads off.

Why did I ever agreed to him?

he thought again . Yet tears kept falling whenever he think of her.

As soon as he closed his eyes, he'd fall into a deep sleep.
