chapter 27: who's right,who's wrong

Manik come out of the washroom and goes in a corner,away from everyone else.. he leaned on to a pillar.. hands in pocket.. he looks around.. that hall was big. And everyone was enjoying so much.. his friends,there partner's,other students.. but he was not happy.. his eyes hold sadness.. and why wouldn't he? He didn't get what he wanted.. Nandini is not his partner. ughh😠 he couldn't bring his own girlfriend with him.. and what's more upsetting is,she is dhruv's partner.. like seriously?😑 how can she be someone else's partner? maybe Nandini being someone else's partner is not a big thing,but everything become big when it's come to dhruv.. because dhruv is not just his brother,he is like a competitor to Manik.. not from now.. from childhood.. everyday he get a new reason to dislike Dhruv.. and now to,It's about Nandini. His girlfriend.. his Love.. if it was some other day,he would have been cool with it.. as they are best friends.. but not today.. because today it was his right to be with Nandini. As her prom partner.. he really wanted to be with her.. but what to do.. nandini don't want there relation to come out open.. she needs time.. and he too don't want to disclose it now.. he take a deep breath and start going outside..

Dhruv was standing alone.. Nandini also come out of the washroom and stand next to Dhruv.. dhruv asked her

Dhruv: aa gayi🙂 you ok?

Nandini nodded with a smile..

Manik was standing outside.. staring at the sky.. he don't feel like going inside. Because he have to watch Nandini with Dhruv.. he come to the party,to keep an eye on them.. but he never thought it will hurt him so much.. on the other hand,everyone's happiness is making him more irritate.. it's like, spreading salt in his wound. just then someone hold him from shoulder.. Manik look at the person. it was Abhi.. Manik give him a soft Smile and asked him

Manik: yaha kya kar raha hain?🙂

Abhi rolled his eyes and said

Abhi: pehle tu bol tu yaha kya kar raha hain?🙄

Manik: to andar kya karta? Kuch nehi hain mere liye waha🙁

Abhi: ajeeb hain yaar tu.. pehle apne Girlfriend ko chorke, kisi aur ko apna partner bana ke le aaya.. aur ab rota hain.. kabhi socha hain,us bechari ko kitna bura lag raha hoga?😒

Manik: BECHARI? Dude.. don't say anything when you don't know the truth.. bas har wakht mujhe villain bana na bandh kar😐😐

Abhi: ha to bolna kya baat hain😒

Manik looked away in anger.. Abhi patted his sholder and said

Abhi: bol de. Dil hi dil me rakh kar apne sadness ko increase mat kar..

Manik: my GF... she come with someone else..

Abhi: What? But why?😕😕 it's weird..

Manik: yaa.. seriously.. can you imagine.. she said yes to her best friend because he was getting upset.. so dumb..

Abhi: seriously.. she must be so dumb.. idiot🙄

Manik look's at Abhi angrily😡😡 abhi got confused and said?

Abhi: What? Aise look kyun de raha
hain?😞😞😟

Manik: how dare you called her dumb?😑

Abhi: arre but tune bhi to bulaya?😐

Manik: she is mine.. i can say but you can't. Never mock her again😒😒

Abhi: ab idiot ki tarha kaam karegi to bolunga hi na..
