Today was my last day of my detention and the happiness I felt within myself was no less than winning a battle.Yeah obviously for me it was no less than a battle.Hope never ever shall I get a detention in future.

Miss Liza looked up from her glasses and gave me a wide toothed smile.Today everyone seemed happy I thought.
I made my way to my desk and guess what I found a company after two days.Someone was doodling in his notebook beside my desk.
"Hey!!" I whispered
That person looked away from his notebook and I stared at him wide eyed
"Woah Zack what are you doing here? "
"Serving detention" He gave his usual smile
"Seriously you're smiling Zack?" I rolled my eyes and took my seat
"Come on Nanz it's just a detention for an hour not a lifetime imprisonment.Well I don't give a f*** to these things you know." He said while raising his hands in air
"Yeah I know you're not the studious one." I frowned while shoving out my history notebook from my backpack.
"That's right Nanz!!" He smiled again
Why does he smile so much?
"Well Zack you didn't say why are you here?" He shifted in his seat
"Err Nothing much just a broke a rule.Nothing serious so chill."
"Kk not a problem" I continued writing my history notes
"So how's your rehearsals going on with that Manik?" He asked eyeing me
"Pretty good! Tomorrow is our performance." Excitement was evident in my voice
"Cool All the best then!!"
"Thank you!!"

My phone went off making Zack drop his pencil.He gave me a what-was-that kinda look.
"It's MaNan song my favourite onscreen couple " I blushed and took the call.
I excused myself and went near the window to chat with the monster.
I guess I had ignored him much since last night so today I needed to talk to him.
"Hello!!"
"What the hell Nandini!! Since last night you are not picking up my calls and even today it's the same. Where were you? Are you avoiding me? Speak up Nandini!"
I heard him barking at me from the other end.His sharp voice flinched me. Why was he getting that furious? Was I really avoiding him? I hope I didn't.
"Nandini are you there?" His voice had turned soft by now
"Y-Yes last night I was angry on you for that stupid walking stuff but today I haven't checked my phone yet." I pouted I wish he could see me
" Kk fine you took that to another level. I was just kidding babes."
Omg did he call me babes? A blush painted my cheeks crimson.
"Nandini I'm talking to you"
