Hello, I'd like to take you with me on a journey. As you may already know, you are reading my diary about a trip to a new world. As of right now, we are on the spaceship "Platinum-17", a state-of-the-art craft in space technology. We are on our way to Apex-3, a planet much like earth, that can be inhabited by humans without any special equipment. However, we can't be sure of what already lives on this new home of ours. As I approach the atmosphere, I can see the planet with clarity. There are orange sand deserts and magnificent coal black mountains that have a glossy shine to them. Their peaks are covered in glistening white snow. As we begin our final descent, we fly over an ocean and the water is a deep opal blue that sparkles at the surface. Cruising at roughly 20,000 feet, I noticed small dragons flying next to us. They seem to have a wingspan of about 20 feet, but their bodies are rather small. We dropped even lower through the clouds and almost grazed some treetops. This is weird because there aren't mountains showing up on our radar at 10,000 feet. As we punch out of the clouds, we realize there was not a mountain below us. Massive trees, some reaching 10,000 feet, made me wonder just how old these trees are. They have dark red bark and dark green leaves. We finally land near the bend of a beautiful river. The water is a dark blue and we are surrounded by plains except for some massive glossy black boulders sticking out of the ground. One of them lays fallen across the river. We decided to explore these new surroundings, so we went for a walk. We see some animals along the way. One was like a deer, but much larger, nearly the size of a horse. Another was a snake, but with two tails splitting apart near the end. We came across a forest fire and did our best to put out a good chunk of it. As we were patting out the ashes, they started to shake. Then a glowing red and orange bird ross from the ashes. We were not quite sure what it was, but it resembled what we might call a phoenix. It was astonishingly beautiful. As the day began to go dark, we decided to head back towards the ship to get a good night's sleep. Tomorrow was going to be very busy.
