My "Death"

June 26, 1999- Three Years Later

"Emmet! Kate! Kaena! Kaine! Kornillia! Rose! Jax! Annabelle! Victoria! Get down here!" I scream up the stairs and then get knocked down by Jax.

"Go to the table and wait for the others. I'm going to go get Kornillia up."

I go upstairs to Kornillia's room and knock. No answer. "Kornillia?" I walk in and she's sound asleep. She's the youngest of all of us. She's 13. Jax is the oldest being 21. I am the alpha even though I'm only 18. I go over and transform. I give her a kiss. She wakes up. And of course she jumps.

"Cath??"

I change back to my human form. "It's time for breakfast."

"Okay."

We walk down and everyone is at the table except for Kaine. So I walk up to his room and transform. I walk in and sniff around his room. It smells like smoke and metal. There are knives in the walls and cigarette butts everywhere.

"Kaine?" No answer."Kaine?"

I transform back to my human then I'm on my back and there's Kaine right on top of me. He changes out of his gryphin form and he kisses me. I struggle to get out of his hard grip. He starts to unbutton my top and kiss my chest.

"JAX!!!" I yell.

"Shut up!"

"JAX!!!" I yell louder.

"CATH!!!" Jax yells running.

Kaine's door bursts open. Jax changes to his snake form and attacks Kaine. I button my shirt back up and run out. Emmet goes running into the room and breaks up the fight. I sit in the hall crying. Jax comes out with a claw mark across his face. But he doesn't seem fazed. He comes over and hugs me tightly. I cry harder. He kisses my forehead and picks me up and takes me to his room. He sets me down on his bed and hugs me.

"Cath are you okay?"

"Ye-Yes."

"Don't go into his room alone ever again. You either have me, Emmet or Kaena with you if you ever go into his room."

"Okay."

"Calm down and then let's go downstairs and eat."

"But your face. The scratch."

"I'm fine Cath."

"Come on let me take a look at it and patch it up, please."

I patch up his face with a big bandaid. Then we go downstairs and eat breakfast.

"Pack meeting!!"

Everyone comes downstairs except Jax. I wonder where he is. I go up to his room and walk into his room. He's laying on his bed looking at his ceiling which I love because it's of the night sky when we first became vampire hybrids. I go over to him and lay next to him.

"Hey Cath."

"We are having a meeting downstairs. You need to come down."

"Okay."

We walk down and start the meeting. But you guys don't need to hear that. All that's needed to be said is that we have very bad people after us.

"Kaine??" Jax and I look around the house but can't find him anywhere.

"Kaine??" Jax yells.

"Cath!!!" Kaine comes running out of my room as if he was looking for me. So that's where he has been.

"What is it Kaine?"

"I had a vision."

"What??" I yell, "You haven't had one of those in almost a year." When Kaine gets visions it is never good. They have always left up to something bad happening to us.
