taehyung slowly opens his eyes and looks around the room. black and white. the room is unfamiliar, of course. the room he is in doesn't have a lot of furniture, there's a bookshelf on the side and the books are organized by colour and taehyung was amazed by it. the room is quite big and clean, it's almost the size of taehyung and yoongi's living room and kitchen combined.

taehyung gets up from the bed and finds his way out of the room,

"you're awake" taehyung sees jeongguk sitting on the sofa, laptop on his lap and his hands quickly typing on the keyboard

for some reason, taehyung doesn't feel any fear towards jeongguk right now, instead he feels soft and comfortable. he shrugged the feelings off and sat beside jeongguk but he made sure that there was space separating them

the older boy grabbed the remote from the table and turned on the tv,

"yes, make yourself at home while it lasts" jeongguk says bluntly as he licks his pink, chapped lips and his brown eyes not leaving the laptop screen

taehyung nodded at the younger's statement "ofcoure, it's what you do anyways. killing innocent people for fun because clearly you don't have a life—" taehyung stops in the middle of his sentence when he heard yoongi's voice coming from the tv:

"i miss him so much, i don't know what happened to him. we were supposed to meet, we were supposed to be happy. i-i planned this whole surprise party for our fifth anniversary– i was about to propose to him.. it was supposed to be a happy day" yoongi sobs as he speaks, the sight broke taehyung's heart and he couldn't help but to also cry

"kim taehyung, a 22 year old is still missing until now. if found please call—" the tv went black and taehyung could see his reflection on it

the thought of yoongi planning on proposing to him shatters his heart into small pieces

but what made him cry harder is when he felt warm arms wrapped around neck

taehyung is confused, why would jeongguk hug him as if he's making him feel better? after the younger hinted that he won't live much longer

jeongguk himself too doesn't know what he's doing but at this very moment he knows one thing is for sure;

he doesn't want to see the boy in front of him sad but instead,

happy

note;; i will continue writing this book when i can! & if that day finally comes i will probably edit this book specially this 5th chapter since im not too happy about it, other than that, thank you for making it in this chapter. you mean alot and ily. love yourself, love myself♥
