Climbing through my bedroom window as quietly as I could; before accidentally knocking over my bedside lamp.  While stumbling into my room, rolling across the floor and onto the carpet, before lying dead still. A whooshing sound was made and before I knew what was happening, I was caught in the net, legs tied together hanging upside down. “C’mon Mom, Dad!”  I heard Theo Shout. “I have a new contraption I’ve been working onnnn,” he said while shouting louder this time. “Ugh!” I groaned loudly, before hearing the door being pushed open with a whoosh, giving me goosebumps as the cold air entered my room, along with Theo, Mom and Dad... Yay.

My mother was clearly amused, whilst my dad had his arms crossed over his chest. “Where now, Alison?” my mother, Sam asked with a bored expression showing on her oval-shaped face – obviously implying about where else I ‘landed my arse’ instead of on my bed.  “Party,” I replied sheepishly with a hint of a cheeky smirk on my face.  She carried on staring me down, literally.  I was at least 3 feet above my room’s laminated flooring. “Free pass?” I asked hopefully. “Hand it over.” I stuck my hand into my skinny jeans’ back pocket before wiggling the small part of my Z10 I had in my grasp for a few seconds and pulling it out while my mother’s right-foot was stuck out in front of her, tapping impatiently. Huh, how moods change... Maybe she’s having her time of the month; mom has been unusually grumpy these past few days...

My parents left my room, walking back towards theirs in an attempt to catch up the lost sleep Theo and I have caused them. Once they were out of sight (and earshot), Theo quietly closed the door, handing my phone back to me. “Thanks bro, we’re getting better,” I replied with a grin on my face. I opened the secret door to HQ through my bed by dialling the classic old red telephone and a machine-like sound came from my bed, before it lifted completely and I activated the ‘Away’ mode, before slipping away with my brother.

*Skip skip, skippedy skip*

“Hey, nice getaway you two had there,” Bryce said, gesturing to our exit. “All good bro, you guys kitted it out pretty well – if I do say so myself,” Theo added. “Big head,” I moaned, before all of us began chucking. “I’m surprised that you managed to move back here, Ali. We’ve both missed you terribly! I’m actually surprised they’ve even accepted you...” I had a sharp intake of breath before slapping Bryce in the stomach. “Meanie!” I retorted, trying to act like a spoilt brat and closed my eyes while sticking my nose as high as my head would allow into the air. Theo gave a wincing sound and started laughing. I looked back to Bryce and realized that he was, in fact lying on the floor, clutching his only hopes of being labelled as a ‘man’. Weaklings. You touch them and they’re on their knees, either asking for more or for the pain to stop. If you catch my drift, or ball. “Sorry Bri, I thought I hit your stomach... You’ve gotten too tall, I guess.” I told him jokingly. “Good job, Humane...” Mr Lawson nodded in Bryce’s direction, before continuing his praises. “... Jameson twins, well done. First out of many at your new location. Where is Miss Swing?” Lawson inquired. “Lacey’s just finishing her training,” he replied and soon as short redhead was rushing towards us, trying to run with books and dodge people at the same time. She was doing pretty well, I mean I thing we all know how it feels being in a crowded hallway with people pushing you away from your destination as you try to run towards it.  Horrible.  Lawson nodded for us to go on into his office as Lacey was still catching up on us. A few minutes later, we were all in his office, being told of new information regarding our little ‘excavation’.  Afterwards, we returned to our homes and got prepared for the following day. Who am I kidding, they did, i just grabbed a book, sat on my bed and started reading.
