"After leaving cherry lake I got a scholarship to a basketball school in Boston, but it was so far away from Jojo I decided not to take it, I was hoping to see some of you but you guys never seemed to be in the same places I was!" Carson explained.
Jojo gave him a hug afterwards.
I knew Carson so well I could tell he wanted that scholarship.
"I thought you wanted that scholar" I asked.
"I did, I really did, but Jojo told me what was more important than basketball" Carson said.
Back when we where in cherry lake I never got to hang out with there group as I was a year younger than them, but I must admit I did have feelings for Carson, when they would have sleepovers at our house, Carson would often come sit in my room and help me with school.
Then when I was in my last year, Carson and I hung out a lot, we kissed twice but we didn't want to be more than friends as he still had Jojo.
"You mean she told you to stay with her and not follow your dreams!" I stated.
Carson gave a confused look before realising.
Jojo scowled at me.
"Basically yes" Carson realised, now he was looking at Jojo.
"It's not like that, it's just I wanted you to get a better job" Jojo said trying to wriggle her way out of the mess she made.
JoJo's phone bleeped. She picked it up and gasped.
"What is it?" I asked.
"It's Kenzie, she's just text us all on a group saying that she walked in on Harvey and Dylan" Jojo explained.
"Oh no, my phones in the car, so i didn't get the message, does she want us to meet her?" I asked.
"No Johnny's with her now!" Jojo replied.
I smirked inside my head.
Johnny trust you to sweep in to the rescue.
I feel bad for Kenz, I really need to apologise for the other night.
