I straightened out my dress in the mirror.

It was black and very tight, not really my type but it was all Annie had.

I looked at myself yet again in the mirror.

Mackenzie, my best friend, I'm about 10 minuets from seeing her again after 5 years.

I took a deep breath.

"Lauren! Let's go!" Hayden demanded as he walked into the small room.

"I'm coming..." I replied.

~

We climbed out of the Black taxi, we where now stood in front of the beautifully lit restaurant.

"Lauren—Lauren Orlando, it's actually you!" A girl beamed, her brunette curls bounced as she ran towards me tackling me into a hug.

"Oh my god, Mackenzie I've missed you so much" I exclaimed.

Mackenzie pulled apart from the hug and went on to hug Annie and then Hayden.

She stopped in front of Johnny, she slightly hesitated as she held out her hand for him to shake.

Over dinner each and everyone of us had our own questions to ask Kenzie.

She was the most lovable of all of us.

"Are you married?" I asked.

"I'm actually engaged to Harvey mills" she replied.

"You guys remember him don't you?"
She continued.

My heart sank, for Johnny and for myself, in my imaginary version of how I got the cool kids back together, Annie and Hayden would be back together and most importantly so would jenzie.

Kenz was more of a sister to me.

I kinda just wanted it to be the same.

I glanced over at Johnny and I could tell he was feeling to same.

"Congrats" Johnny managed to choke out.

"Yeah good on you Kenz!" Hayden exclaimed.

Everyone was putting on a front to cover there true feelings of the engagement.

But I didn't know how to put in a front.

I scowled at Kenzie before smashing my scrunched up fists against the table., I stood up.

"Well I'm not okay with this" I growled.

"Laur—" Kenzie started.

"Don't, laur, Me Kenz, this was your doing!" I squealed.

She stood up opposite me so that we where face to face.

"You couldn't possibly think of still be with your brother, all relationships come to an end at one point, couldn't you be happy for me!" She yelled, before storming out of the restaurant.

Johnny chased after her to try and smoothen things back out.

But I knew it was know use of him trying, obviously Kenzie aren't as close anymore, we have also changed a lot since we where best friends.

We just don't click anymore.

And without Kenzie none of the group will click again.
