Rhayn POV.

I had an hour and a half until I had to meet up with my friends for lunch so I decided to go check on my businesses to see how they were going since I haven’t been to them in about three weeks. As I pulled up in front of my hair salon; RHAYN’S HAIR BEAUTY, I noticed how busy they were. As I walked in I heard many “HI’s”, “Hello’s”, and “Was sup’s” thrown at me. “Hey everyone!” I replied back cheerfully.

“So what’s been upwith everybody?” I asked as I sat down in one of the empty stylist chairs. “Well I am engaged.” My head stylist/manager who runs the hair salon when I’m not here, Tasha said smiling brightly showing me her 18k gold 1 1/5ct TDWDiamond Princess Cut Halo Engagement Ring.“Damn that is beautiful, congrats.” I said admiring her ring.  “I am two months pregnant.” Another stylist name Layla said while putting a relaxer in some little girl hair. “Awe you about to be a mommy, are you excited?” “I am really excited and so is Curtis he bought the baby a whole lot of clothes and we don’t even know what it is yet.” She said in reply.

For about twenty more minutes I sat there and chatted with the girls catching up with them. “Alright y’all I’m about to go check up with the barbershop and spa then make my way to meet up with my friends, I will see ya’ll later on this week. Bye everybody.” I said as I was about to leave. “Bye girl.” They said as I exited the door.

As I entered the barbershop next door that I also own someone was exiting. “Wassup shawty.” He said nodding his head at me. “Hey.” I replied walking in. When I was in everybody was looking at the TV, they were watching Friday. “So this is how ya’ll treat people when they walk in here.” I said making them turn around to looking at me. “What’s up Rhayn?” Everybody said. “Hey ya’ll, where Terrence at?” I questioned looking around for him. “He in the back.” Said one of the barbers named Darnell as he came out the back.

“What’s up boss lady?” Terrence said coming out the back with a bottle of water in his hand. “Here you go bruh.”He said handling the water to this dude that’s was in his chair. “So boss lady I been meaning to ask you when we gonna get to the baby making?” asked one of the barbers by the name of Shawn. “Boy I have a little brother older than you so ummmmm never.” I said giggling. “Damn nigga she just shot down your dreams.” The dude Terrence gave the water to said laughing. “Hell yea she did.” Some other dude said laughing also. “HA HA fuck both ya’ll niggas.” He said sounding salty making them laugh more.

“Rhayn were your ass been I haven’t seen you in a minute?” Darnell said looking over at me. “Where you think nigga this is not my only place of business.” I said looking at him stupidly. “Yea but you normally are up in here at least twice a week and you haven’t been here in about a month.” “I been really busy.” I replied. I chilled with them for about 15 more minutes before I made my way to my spa to see how it was doing and by the time I was done there it was time for me to make my way to meet up with the girls.

My’Onné POV.

Since I didn’t have to go to work to day I decided to go pick up my little siblings and take them shopping this morning until it was time to meet up with the girls. As we were walking through the mall my phone started ringing “Mother” by Ashanti indicating that my mom was calling. “Hello.” I said answering my phone on the third ring. “When are you bringing them home?” My mom asked after I said hello. “Um in about 45 minutes; why?” I said looking at the time. “I was just wondering because I was going to take the twins to see their grandparents later.” She said “Awe ok we’ll be back in about 45 minutes.” “Okay bye.” She said hanging up.

“Onné can we go in there please?” My eleven year old sister Justice said pointing towards the Aeropostale store. “Yea come on.” I said making my way into the store.
