Gray's PoV

It's been years since everything happened, Amanda and I joined Fairy Tail. We're both 16 years old now and recovered from our past. We know that Ur still lives on in our hearts.

Fairy Tail made us happy but Amanda was still struggling a little with what had happened, it nearly became traumatic for her. For her sake, she lives with me in my apartment. Right now, I was about to wake Amanda for breakfast and go to the guild.

I opened the door to her room, not bothering to knock since I knew she wouldn't get up. I sat on the bed in the dim room. "Amanda..." I mumbled shaking her gently, she didn't wake up "Amanda. Hey, it's time to wake up" I said, which all I got was an annoyed groan in response "...Amanda, it's time to wake up" I said louder as I shook her again "whaaat" she said in a raspy voice.

I chuckled "you gotta get up unless you want me to eat your breakfast too" I threatened playfully "can you just get me breakfast in bed?" she asked opening her hazel eyes, looking up at me. "No lazy, now come on" I said pulling the covers off of her "ugh...fine" she finally gave in as I left her room.

"And put some clothes on!" I heard her call out making me blush and look for my clothes. Again. Damn habit!

We just entered the guild, I was lucky because Natsu never comes to the guild early so I had a bit of peace and quiet. I'll admit that I still like Amanda and its been years. Yet, I don't think she's noticed a thing.

As soon as Amanda and I sat at the bar, we were approached by Erza who sat next to us. "Good morning you two" she said with a smile and we both greeted her back. The three of us talked for a while before we were interrupted. By Natsu.

To be honest, I didn't like Natsu, sure I respected him as my guildmate but he can be a serious pain and then Amanda, She's not comfortable around Natsu since he's so energetic and explosive, in personality terms. She's still pretty shy, hiding in her shell, introverted.

When Natsu walked up and said a simple "Hey," Amanda moved closer to me in discomfort. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder to pull her closer "Natsu, what is it?" I asked with a sigh "just wanted to greet ya before I bash your head in, freezer!" Natsu grinned and his fists engulfed in flames. "Not now Natsu..." I said sternly, when Amanda was like this, I didn't want to leave her side. So sometimes I had to suppress my anger and keep my temper in check. Even if I wanted to punch Natsu to the stars.

Within minutes, the guild filled up and Natsu started to brawl with Elfman. Amanda stayed quiet and I stayed by her side.

As the day continued, Natsu wandered off on a "mission" to go find Igneel, once again. Natsu hasn't stopped looking and he's been at it for years... 

"How are you feeling today..?" I asked, knowing the answer already. "Same as always... Just-... I'm okay." Amanda mumbled as she held my hand, my fingers interlocking with hers. "Nothing different? Well, want to do anything today? We haven't done much for the past few days." I looked down at the girl, a small smile on my face. "What ever you want to do, I'm fine with it, Gray." I rolled my eyes "I mean what do you want to do?" I asked her once again.

"Hmm... Nothing really, can we-" Amanda was cut off by none other than Erza "you two should try to go on a small easy mission around town. That should ease your boredom. I'm going on one, myself." Erza smiled a little before walking passed to go upstairs. "Well, that's an idea." Amanda smiled up at me innocently, making me smile too. "Alright then." She and I stood up and walked over to the board listed full of different missions, supplied with different bounties.
