How did I survive could this just be a houlicination?
I saw my ex babysitter ,Mel was next to me she was the only person that I know cares about me.
"I'm alive?" I was stumbling with the words
"Yes, darling, someone saw your body floating on the water and rescued you. You heart was still beating so they brought you here and I was crying when I heard this terrible news." She said I knew a tear was about to shed at any moment.
As typical my parents weren't there.
"The doctors say today is your last day here" she said In a smile
"Am I going to stay back with my parents" I asked looking at the tube connected to my veins.
"I know why you don't want to stay with your parents...." She stopped talking I knew that she was thinking of the potheads of my parents "how about you can stay with me I live alone with my dog and in a neighborhood far away from your parents. And you can go to a different school to start all over again. But it's all up to you honey."
Is she giving me a chance to become someone.I know i can't let a chance like this down.
"When do I go to pick up my stuff?" I asked with a real smile.
