Night in/Sleepy Keith au

Keith had better things to do then watch some cringy movie,  but Lance had insisted with his big blue puppy dog eyes. The eyes that everyone but Keith could resist.

So here he was, half asleep during the force awakens. His eyelids heavy as Lance proceeded to scream as kylo Ren and Rey were battiling with what lance had half heartedly explained to be the force.

They had been dating for only a few weeks and still certain things were 'awkward' for them.

The pair were using one small blanket to cover their bodies so they were 'uncomfortably' close, even though they both were secretly loving it.

The brunette found the movie In the space mall and he was ecstatic, so of course he begged for someone else to watch it with him. But Keith, through his half lidded violet eyes, before sleep took it's hold, the only thing he was watching was Lance.

Lance's happy, sad or just plain infurrated outbursts at the show made Keith smile. His face lit up with every emotion making his eyes sparkle and his skin glisten.

Keith began focusing on these details. His eyes,  blue as the ocean and they had a slight shine to them, then there was the tanned skin that glistened in a special way that only Lance's could.

With these thought in his mind, the red paladin began to sleep. Going limp, his body began falling slowly towards Lance eventually resting his head on his shoulder.

Lance was startled when he felt the pressure on his shoulder. He hadn't noticed that Keith had fallen asleep (obviously to engulfed in the show)  and he certainly wasn't expecting to feel the raven coloured hair slightly tickle his neck.

The blue paladin's interest in the show became merely canteen money compared to the fortune laying on his shoulder. Keith eyes were closed so gently and his lips slightly parted.

Lance moved his arm to rest around Keith's neck and the other to gently pull his head onto his knees. Lance smiled dearly at the view of the sleeping boy and began playing with the soft strands of hair that were currently spread over his legs.

This lasted a few minutes, with the volume of the movie turned down, the soft strands of hair between his fingers, the purple( get it cuz red+blue=purple haha)  coloured blanket cocooned mostly around Keith and Lance leaning close to the smaller boys face admiring the small freckles that decorated it, but this all stopped when Lance pulled a little to hard.

Keith's eyes opened with a soft gasp from the slight pain. Reaching a hand to his head he felt a hand around his wrist. He looked up to notice Lance smiling with a toothy grin not 2inches from his own face.

Lance leant in a bit more and closed his eyes as he Eskimo kissed the startled boy beneath him.

'morning Sleeping Beauty' lance couldn't help but smirk at his own words.

"you woke me up!" Keith said with a slight shove at Lance, adjusting his position so now he was sitting on lance's lap with his arms around his waist and his legs curling around lance's torso. This meant he could hide his blushing face in the soft fabric of his boyfriends shirt.

Lance heard the small mumble "jackass"

"haha I love you to" with a gentle kiss to Keith's sheltered forehead Lance scooped the smaller boy in his arms and proceeded to his room. When they finally arrived Lance gently placed Kieth onto the bed and smiled softly as he pulled the covers of the bed over the raven haired boy.

Keith sighed in content as lance joined him under the covers and held him close.

"I love you" lance huffed into his boyfriends hair.

"I love you to"

They snuggled closer and fell asleep in each others arms, not Knowing that the rest of the group had started the movie again and watched it until they fell asleep.
