That's all that James could think of.
He knew Jaiden liked him. And he liked her back. He was just waiting for her to say something. James was awkward. There was no way he was gonna make the first move. No, siree. He was too nervous, awkward and insecure about himself to do that. He just couldn't.
"Would you care to do the kind deed of helping me to prepare the chocolatey snacks, known as cookies, fine lady?" James asked, formally offering his hand to Jaiden.
"Oh my God, James, you sound like one of those verbose memes." Jaiden giggled.
"But yes, I will, fine sir." Jaiden replied, grabbing his hand.
James blushed.
"J-James. You cool? Your face is all..Red-ish." Jaiden said, trying not to scream.
what the frick is going on does james like me back??
Jaiden couldn't help but squeal a bit.
"You are adorable, James." she grinned.
"Y-you too." James replied nervously.
James walked into the kitchen, saying nothing.
"U-uh..Get that pan for me please? Jaiden?" Jaiden asked.
"Sure. Uh..Which cabinet?" she asked, looking around.
"Bottom. All the way to the right." James replied, getting the pre-made dough.
"Heck, dude. You got a huge kitchen." she said, looking around still for the pan.
"Thanks. Sometimes I like how big it is, sometimes I don't." he answered.
"oH MY GOD JAMES SPIDER" Jaiden screeched, jumping into his arms.
He caught her, surprised at his own accuracy and speed.
"You are light as frick, Jai. Do you even eat? Ever?" James laughed a bit, but then got a bit concerned when she didn't answer.
"Yes, I eat way too much. Its unhealthy and stuff. I'm actually gonna diet soon. You should try it!" Jaiden said, in a happy-ish tone.
James was shocked.
"W-wha--?"
"wAIT WAIT NO I DIDN'T MEAN IT THAT WAY I'M SORRY." Jaiden shouted.
James let out a sigh of relief.
"Oh. Heh." James said.
Jaiden then screeched at the top of her lungs.
"jAMES THE SPIDER IS CRAWLING AROUND SOMEWHERE IT'S GONE JAMES GO FIND IT" Jai yelled.
"Wh-what? Okay?" James said, putting her down.
Jaiden blushed. She loved the way that James held her.
ew stop being weird, jai. Jaiden thought.
But she couldn't help it. She was in love with him.
But he just didn't feel the same, did he?
no, there's no way. Jaiden thought.
"Yo, Jai, I can't find it. But..Uhm..You wanna sleep over?" he nervously asked, fidgeting with his thumbs.
She shrieked a bit.
"Oh! Uh..Yeah." she replied.
