"Hey I need you to take out the old flowers out the back." The store manager said in his same cheerful tone. I nodded and grabbed the wilted flowers and headed out the back of the flower store. "What happened to you?" I whispered to the bunch of assorted colourless flowers. "Here, I'll fix you up." No one will know I used my powers, It's for good right? I closed the door behind me and waved my hand over the flowers, watching as the green orbs floated from my palm to the once lifeless flowers, giving them back their colourful glow. "There you go" I said with a smile. "Hey Nat there's a customer here that I can't deal with at the moment" I heard Bill say behind me. I turned around, the flowers bright and colourful again. "Woah how did you do that Nat?" Oh no, he saw the flowers. What am I going to say? I must of looked stupid because he backed away from me with a strange look on his face. I quickly came up with a answer but before I could talk I was pushed to the side by some explosion coming from the shop. I landed In some trash pile of the leftover vases we selled a while ago. The flowers I healed a moment ago were lying beside me and another explosion went off, I got up but instantly felt light-headed. I reached up to the back of my head, feeling a piece of glass lodged in it. The world suddenly started spinning and the last words I heard were: "Nat? Are you okay?" before blacking out.
