We walked to the park together like we usually did.

It was weird not having Jae around,

Talking to me in my head.

But it was also reviving to some extent.

I hadn't talked to so many people before in years.

And after Jae'd left, I hadn't talked to anyone unless I needed to.

We had gotten to the park and made our way onto the swing sets as usual.

He said he didn't feel like going on and so he just leaned on the pole that connected to the set and observed.

I smiled again to myself, thinking about the memories made in the past week while moving back and forth on the seat.

Then I turned toward the boy.

The boy who had changed everything.

The boy who wasn't afraid to talk to me.

The boy who'd made me get rid of my best friend.

Kim Yugyeom.

I got off of my swing and moved toward him, wrapping my arms around his body.

He froze for a second but soon calmed down.

Then I looked up at him.

"Thank you Kim Yugyeom." I started, starng into his eyes.

"Thank you. For being my friend."

A couple seconds later he smiled and returned my hug, pulling me tight.

"It's my pleasure, Son Chaeyoung." he replied.

Then I went back on my swing and began to swing again.

Seconds later, I spoke again.

"You know, after Jae.. left, I really thought it was the end for me. I couldn't believe it had really happened. And somehow I... tricked myself into thinking it was all alright." I'd said.

"I could always feel his presence and remember his voice. But that feeling is gone now. He's gone now." I continued, smiling sadly to myself.

"But I know he's still there, watching me like the weirdo he always was," I laughed. "And don't get me wrong, I still miss him like heck, but I know that he'd always just wanted me to be happy. Even if that meant being without him."

I chuckled softly to myself thinking of the song that we used to sing.

I miss you~

Before it was just a nice song to harmonize together in,

But later, it began to define our lives.

Or at least mine.

Moments later I felt a pair of hands pushing lightly against my back.

I looked back to see Yugyeom, attempting to push me on the swing.

And I allowed it to happen.

Cause although it brought back memories of you,

It had also birthed new ones of him.

Which was a good thing.

Because I had really started to like him.

As more than just a stalker.

Now, as a friend.
