Zack was three when Ricci moved in. She was "cute as a button", as his mom stated. She had long, dark hair and rosy red cheeks, with a smile from ear to ear. Zack was blonde with long, curly bangs. Ricci didn't want to move in the first place, but her father, single as he was, needed to move somewhere that did not cost a lot. When they arrived, Zack and his folks walked over to the new neighbors' apartment and knocked. Rick, Ricci's father, answered the door while holding his daughter. He set her down and introduced the two of them. Then, Zack's father, Nicholas, introduced his family, his wife, Jane, and son, Zack. Jane offered Nick and herself help him unpack as the children go play in Ricci's already unpacked room. Rick accepted and sent Zack and Ricci to her room to play.
