"I tripped amd fell while i was getting sticks." i answer.

"Hannah.' he sighs and points to my jacket sleeves.

They had blood stains showing though.

"Roll your sleeves up." he says strictly.

"No" i say and pull my sleeves down farther.

"Hannah Jane Zay." he says glaring out me.

He remembered my middle name?!

"Fine." i sigh and roll my sleeves up slowly.

"Oh my god, Hannah." he mumbles and runs his finger over all of them, counting. "Ther are 56" He breathes.

"Hannah, this is not ok. You dont need this. I am your blade. Ill help youm ore than this can." He gestures to my arms and i feel a tear fall.

He wipes it away with his thumb.

"Hello.." Someone calls.

Both of our heads shoot up. It was a mans voice. It sounded straiined and husky.

"Please, is anybody out there?" It calls again.

Leaves rustle to my right and i hurridly pull my sleeves down.

A man walks through carrying a woman in his arms. He is hurt badly. What looks like a broken leg. The woman is past out because of a bad hit to the head, i can she the dried blood, both on his shirt and her head.

"Thank you." He cries as ashton hands him a leaf full of water.

Where did he get water?

The man doesnt drink it but gives it to the woman.

She coughs and slwoly opens her eyes.

Her eyebrows scrunch in confusion. Thenrealization hits her and she starts to cry.

"Shh, Anne, Shhhh." The man rocks her as she cries into his chest.

"Im Mark, This is Anne." Mark holds his hand out.

"Ash, Hannah." Ashton replies taking Marks hand.

I bend down next to Anne and stroke her hair. She looks up at me with teary eyes.

"Best friends?" She asks me quietly so the boys couldnt hear and hold out her pinky.
