"I really appreciate you coming, Spencer."

I know that I acted like a child when I invited him to come to work with me, but the experimental physicists are really mean!

"It's no problem. So, what are we working on today?" he asked genially interested.

"Have you ever heard of String Theory?" I asked.

"Yes."

"Do you know what it?"

"I understand parts of it."

"In physics, string theory is a theoretical framework in which the point‑like particles of particle physics are replaced by one-dimensional objects called strings. In simple terms, string theory is the theory based on the existence of cosmic strings."

"Oh."

As we enter the lab, we see my lab partner, Sarah. When I was in the sixth grade, Sarah and I made a deal that when we get older we would attend the same college and work in the same field. And that's exactly what we did.

"Spencer, this is my lab partner, Sarah. Sarah, this is my boyfriend, Spencer."

"Dr. Spencer Reid."Spencer said

"What's he doing here?" she asked

"He is here to help with work." I replied

"Until we get called in." He reminded me.

"Oh yeah. I forgot that you work with the BAU. Your a profiler, right?" Sarah asked.

"Yeah." I replied.

Ring! Ring!

"Speaking of getting called in." Spencer said.

"I've got to go, Sarah. You can go get Niki to cover my shift. Ok?" I told Sarah.

I quickly grabbed my bags and grabbed Spencer's hand.

"Let's go."

We climbed inside my Mini Cooper and took off.
