I lingered inside the green room at the Bighit building, restless to leave. I was waiting on the boys to style them, nervous and uneasy since I got a call from the animal shelter to pick up Chimmy.

After her mother gave birth to her, the family realized they didn't want more pets and so they chose to leave her on the street. I had seen the advert for her adoption over twitter and the photograph of her tiny body cowering over an even tinier blanket had melted my heart. Almost immediately I asked Mia if she wanted to co-parent and called the shelter a second after she agreed.

I was pacing back and forth in the room when a sudden burst of activity was heard at the door.

Finally!

I rushed to my chair and motioned for Jin to hurry over the moment I met his eyes and the man shuffled over to me.

"What? What's wrong?" he asked, eyes wide.

"No, nothing, sit down," I pulled back the chair and urged him to sit.

"Ah, really..." he sighed, seating himself, "why are you in such a hurry?"

"Just am," I shrugged and he raised a brow at me.

I rolled my eyes half-heartedly and smiled.

"I got a call from the shelter. I can go pick up Chi- the kitten!"

"oh!" he smiled brightly, "congratulations! When do you have to go?"

I opened my mouth to answer before I was interrupted.

"Where do you have to go?" Jimin inquired, slipping behind Jin.

We hadn't talked extensively since the photos of him with Hana came out, and none of the boys had even remotely mentioned anything about it either.

Guess I'm an outsider.

"To the shelter," I answered, hard at work and avoiding looking at him.

"Oh? You're picking up the cat?" he asked, invested.

"Yes."

"So? When do you have to go?" Jin asked again.

"Anytime," I brushed his hair, "I can go anytime today."

"Were you going now?" Jin perked up.

"Yeah, as soon as I can."

Just then, Manager Seji came around and informed us that we would start filming in an hour and a half.

"Tara, I know Mia usually stays for the Run episodes but since she's not here you have to stay," he said and left.

NO! MY KITTY!

Jimin chuckled at my expression.

"It's okay, it doesn't take too long. Would you like me to take you after?" he crossed his arms across his chest.

This time I looked at him.

Are you fucking serious.

He was really out here acting like I lived under a rock and didn't know of anything that was happening.

Or maybe he just doesn't care.

"That's okay," I focused back on Jin, "I can go myself."

"I know you can. But I'll take you. What are friends for?" he shrugged, nonchalantly before turning away.

I laughed humorlessly.
"Friends don't keep secrets from each other," I mumbled and Jin looked up at me, eyes swarming with pity and longing.

"Tara..." he began.

"Don't," I shook my head and continued as if nothing had happened.

If he can pretend then I'll pretend, too.

All of Bangtan and Bighit enjoyed filming the Run episodes. Packed with absurd games and spontaneous rules, it was a way for the boys to unwind and have fun even though technically they were still working. We laughed our asses of when Jimin fell three times during the entirety of the episode, the iconic Taegi pair was losing the games horribly and Taehyung was exhausted and discouraged but Yoongi didn't seem to care at all. All in all, the filming was a riot and I made a mental note to attend more of the shoots for Run. Just as the game wrapped up and Team Kim Seokjin won, I rushed to the lounge to gather my belongings and make for the shelter.

I adjusted my bag over my shoulder as I exited the room and walked right into a soft sweater coating a firm chest.

"Where do you think you're running off to?" Jimin chuckled.

"You know where," I blinked up at him.

"Okay, let's go," he said, casually brushing his hair back and replacing his hat on his head.

"You don't have to come," I shook my head as I walked ahead.

I flinched when I felt his hand place itself on the small of my back.

"I know," he said, urging me through the door, "but I want to."

He pranced ahead of me and opened the door to one of the Bighit vehicles, holding it open.

"You need to stop doing that," I said, climbing into the large black car and not arguing because i was too restless, "I have hands of my own."
"Oh, I know," he said, climbing in after me and winking at me as he sat.

Fuck you.

I rolled my eyes dramatically.

I was mad at him and everything he did.

He made no sense to me and it drove me crazy.

Park Jimin, you drive me crazy.
