Point Of View:
Alex Skytte

As asked for, backup came within a short few minutes. The vampire could have easily killed every single one of them but he had rules to follow. He couldn't kill more then three humans a month or reveal himself to any non-mythical creature if he wanted to live in peace. So the vampire had to behave and wait this one out until he was either found guilty or innocent. Alex was thrown into the back seat of a police car while the alley way was shut off. Being a murder scene it had to be hidden away from the general public plus they didn't want anyone contaminating any evidence that may have been left behind.

As more police arrived other people started to notice that something tragic had happened and a small crowd had gathered around the alleyway. As this town was within Alex's territory deaths here had slowly been increasing at first the people thought it was a wild animal. They roamed the woods surrounding their town for week but found no evidence of any animals dangerous enough to kill so many people. They then began to suspect that it was a person like them but a deranged psychopath who enjoyed killing innocent people. The victims were mainly young females within the age of 18 up to 30 and within the past three months, five mothers had been slaughtered and four more women had lost their lives either after college or work. It had been a devastation for the whole town but people still found a way to make do and continue on with their lives.

The driver's side door was opened, causing Alex to look forward and he watched as a blonde police officer sat behind the wheel. She started up the engine just as her male colleague joined he in the passenger seat. Pulling away from the crime scene, they started to drive towards the police station together.

That was almost an hour ago.

Alex had been admitted into the police station, given new clothes since the fabrics he was wearing had crucial evidence on; the bartender's blood, a few specs had dripped down onto his black button up shirt while he drained her dry. He had been made to sit inside a cell for the first twenty minutes before he was dragged out, down the hallway and into what looked like a questioning room. There was a metal table in the centre and three chairs, two on one side and one on the other. He was sat down and his handcuffs were chained to the table before he was left alone.

Now, half an hour later, Alex's electric blue eyes followed the man who stood before him as he paced back and forth inside the box-like interrogation room. The room itself was plain, all white apart from the wall opposite him that was instead a large window with one way glass. He knew there were people on the other side but that wasn't important right now. It was a different officer then the man who had brought him here after finding him in the alley way with the dead woman but, like all cops, he was attempting to look a intimidating as possible.

It wasn't working.

He wore the typical police man uniform; boots, pants, shirt, badge and bet with an empty holster. Again, like the hunter in the alley way, unfashionable.
