Our Little Infinity

Chapter 4

I wish I could just escape this world. I would be so much happier without my peers. Tormenting me, picking on me. Carefully dragging me down. Haha, not the carefully part. More like poking and shoving until I'm gone. Yup, you've got it! First day of school!

I walk to my locker and notice a few girls walking my way. They look so familiar.

"Hey! I haven't seen you all summer!" the pretty girl with brown hair and hazel eyes tells me.

"I know you need to text us more!!" the second girl with blonde hair and blue eyes adds. Gosh, they are pretty. Are they my friends?

"Uh...hey?"

"Are you okay, Kris?"

"No..."

"OMG!! WHAT'S WRONG?"

"Erm...what is uh... your name?"

She looks at me like I'm from outer space. "I'm Jessica, and blondie over there is Alyssa. We are your best friends."

"Oh...sorry...um..."

"What. Happened. To. You?" Alyssa asks, stroking my cheek. Crap! My whip mark!!

"Umm... I was in a car wreck. I lost my memory and my mom."

"Oh honey!" Jessica says hugging me. "We're here for you. Always and Forever." She winks at me. I think it's an inside joke or something. I give her a questioned look and she explains, "It's our little inside joke."

"Oh...okay." I smile. I turn around and get my books. "See you at lunch guys!" I say to them and walk away.

"See ya!" They wave and smile. I walk to the office to get my schedule then head off to my first class. AP Science.

I walk in and see the room is almost empty. All except a Middle Ages woman and a boy. I take a seat up front whilst he is in the back. I hear footsteps then I feel a tap on my shoulder.

"Hey Kris," The cute boy says. His brown hair falls perfectly on his head. His brown eyes sparkle as he smiles at me. His dimples make his face even more prettier.

"Uh...hi." I say.

"How was your summer?" he smiles.

"Ter-great." I say confused on whether to state the truth or lie.

"Hmm... never got the answer 'ter-great' before." He smiles more making his dimples pop out a lot more.

I smile back, "Haha unique right?"

"Yup." He says back. He's about to ask me something and has a worried look on his face when the teacher walks by and we introduce ourselves. I think I know the question he was going to ask.
