Hellooooooooo. TaleMeAgain here..... The Sword Art Online Progressive manga by Kiseki Himura has officially released its latest chapter! ..... and its last????
We'll see about that later. But for now, I'll post this drawing I did last summer to symbolize the finale of Kiseki Himura's 5 year long run with his famous manga adaption.
So here it is!!!!!!
Wellll, I should come out and say it now: This is one of my proudest works! I went ahead and colored it too! This one features the Sword Art Online Progressive chapter 1: Aria on a Starless Night! Otherwise for those who love the anime, Sword Art Online, Season 1, episode 2.
I just love the Sword Art Online Progressive Series, both the novel and the manga adaption. Reki Kawahara does such a great job in emphasizing the change of character during the novels, and I love how Kiseki Himura gets so creative with the novel content and the characters in his manga adaption.
My favorite thing about the Progressive series is how they really dive into the "game", expanding their world yet again with quests, new and familiar characters, and the concept of "SAO" that really shines.
My favourite thing of all is, though, the word "Switch!".
You can even see it one the bottom left side of the illustration. :)
The phrase "Switch!" really strikes me so much, because it contains so much trust, so much courage, in just a single word. Basically, you're trusting your partner with your life in a life or death situation.
That's why I love the first Arc so much!
Anyway, that's the end of this chapter, I hope you all liked it!
Oh, and the fact that the Progessive Manga ending is a LIE!!!!
Himura is stepping down to welcome a new manga-ka to step in and illustrate the next arc.
Everyone, please welcome Shiomi Miyoshi to continue the SAOP manga!!!!!!!
yeaaahhhhh!!(^0^)/!!!!!
