Chapter 11

I woke up from the time jump in the cargo bay. May just knocked me on my ass.

"Steve, were back."

"But why here?"

"I don't understand."

"the past two times I woke up in Germany on the cliff about to go into the HYDRA base."

May was about to say something when Coulson walked in.

"Skye thinks she found a possible location."

"Germany?"

"Yes but how do you know?"

We got up and started to follow him.

"Because I've been set through time and each time my attempts to save peggy have failed"

"How many times."

May spoke," Steve has done it three times. Me only once. Coulson we need to call in reinforcements."

"Coulson what's the date today?"

He stopped and looked at me," June 1... why?"

"I need to make a phone call."

"Ok. Then meet me at Skye's."

"Yes sir," I looked at May," may?"

"Fine. I'll go."

We left to call tony.

We sat in front of the television and waited for tony to appear on the screen.

When tony sat down in the chair he looked at me," hello captain. What can I do for you?"

May sat down next to me.

"You. I know you. you delivered me a note back when I was 16"

"Did you read it?"

"Yes. It's an apology letter. Who sent it?"

"I did tony. I wanted to tell you I'm sorry."

"I got that."

May left and I walked closer to the screen.

"I've been to the past and I watched a young man, one of my dear friends, say goodbye to his parents."

"You were the man on the cliff. Weren't you?"

"Yes."

"God Steve why didn't you tell me."

"Tony I need you to know that I'm sorry and that you're not alone. I lost my family too Stark. If you want to talk... I don't know about what but I'm here. If I make it out of this and rescue peggy."

"Agent carter. She went missing after dad's funeral. Where are you. I want in."

"Tony I can't tell you. I'm sorry."

"Why?"

"Someone already died during our time walking. I'm not going to lose you to tony.

"I'm not a kid anymore Steve. Where are you?"

May walked back in and called me.

"Bye tony."

I ended the conversation and we left to Skye.

"Skye block all signal trace. Starks going to come looking for us."

She did then we landed on the cliff aside of the base.
