Round 1 - Mad Libs

Welcome Competitors to Round 1 of the Wattpad Origins Competition!

In this round, we will be focusing on your creativity i.e your ability to truly think outside the box so let your imagination run wild! Don't forget that while we may be giving you free reign on your imagination, we'll still be looking at grammar and punctuation errors. These errors can very well take away the effect of your creativity. 

Each entry should be about 1-2 Wattpad page, no more than that. Failure to do so will affect your chances of gaining a high score which you'll carry towards Round 2. You have 1 week to complete and submit the link to your works in the comments of this part of the book. So the deadline date will be: Thursday 20th August, 2015.

If you cannot submit your work on time, it will result in automatic disqualification.

The same rules at the beginning of the book applies but just to recap on the major ones:

3) There shall be absolutely no disrespect towards the Judges. Failure to comply will result in automatic ejection.

6) Write your stories on your account in a separate book and submit them by filling out the form which can be found in the admission section of the book. They are to be posted in the comments of that section.

8) There is to be absolutely no changing of your usernames. It makes it difficult to keep things organized.

Alright, now onto the details of Round 1! I'm sure many of you can recall that we PMed you with a sort of fill-in-the-blank prompt (courtesy of Maidenjapan) You filled them and sent them back to us. We love them all because they're so wildly creative with the potential of being great stories!

Now... we shuffled them. 

Whatever prompt you had written is being given randomly to another competitor.

If you're wondering what we're looking at in your stories, here it is:

- Kept to the requirements.

- Originality and creativity.

- Proper grammar and punctuation.

- How well you developed the prompt into a story.
