5. The Fight (Continued)

I walked out of the old rusty building to escape a chance of getting burned. The sun was almost fully risen.

I walked towards a park and felt something poke my side. I pulled out my wand and looked at it. There was a flash of green light. I ducked.

A group of evil witches and wizards walked towards me. The teenage leader by the name of Nick Torres got in front of all of them.

"Oh!" he exclaimed. "Look what we have here! A half-werewolf half-witch hybrid."

"Leave me alone," I said, drawing out my wand. The witches and wizards laughed.

"And just what are you going to do about that, my dear?" asked Nick.

I waved my wand at a blonde witch and she vanished immediately. I gasped.

"Get her!" shouted Nick as the rest of the witches and wizards pointed their wands at my chest.

I began to duel against two wizards. I held onto my wand as tight as I could so it wouldn't fall out of my hand. Lightning came out of the wand and hit the wizard. I pointed the wand at a brown haired witch. Red light came out and the witch disappeared.

What the hell? I thought to myself.

"Well, you're good, my dear," Nick said. "But how are you going to defeat me and the most powerful witch ever?"

"How will I do it?" I asked, pointing my wand at the witch. "Like this." I thrusted my wand at the witch as green light came out of it and killed the witch.

"I must say, you are good, sweetie," said Nick. "Looks like it's just you and I. You'll make a great experiment for the rest of the supernatural world."

Nick came close to me and started to torture me. I wanted to scream but I couldn't. As I was going to point my wand at him, Laney suddenly appeared in front of me. "Laney? What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Stay right here, I'll take care of this," said Laney.

Nick grunted and pointed his wand at my chest as red light came out of it. It hit me and I fell down to the ground. Laney pulled out her wand and started to battle Nick. A purple light came towards him. He cast two spells at Laney as she backed up towards me, almost falling on top of me. She looked like she was going to read someone's mind. In a matter of a few seconds, Laney pointed her wand at Nick as a huge jet of green light hit him and he vanished. She twirled her wand and put it in her pocket.

"Hey, you okay?" she asked, turning around to face me.

"Yeah," I said.

"Let's go find the rest. C'mon." Laney helped me up and we ran to find Steven and Christian.
