So I just got home from my High School Graduation! In one week me and Sarah will be on our way to New York City!!!
One Week Later
Sarah - Hey! Are you ready to go to New York!?!
Elise - Of course! I'm so excited, I can picture it now... We will need to shopping once we get settled there and get some new clothes!
Sarah - YES!
We go to the airport and tell our family and friends good bye
Mom - make sure to text me everyday and let me know your ok! And please be safe! And don't do anything stupid!
Elise - ok, I'll try my best. I love you!
Mom - I love you too, but don't try you best when it comes to texting me everyday, you need to text me everyday!
Elise - ok!
Dad - just make sure to be safe, don't do anything stupid and make sure your smart about every single thing you do.
Elise - ok, I will. Love you!
Dad - love you too!
And with that we left.
We got off the plane and looked around
Sarah - where are we staying?
Elise - an apartment in the heart of the city, let's try and find a cab to get us there
Sarah - ok
We went outside to the warm New York air
Sarah - how do we get one to stop?
Elise - good question.....
A boy about our age was standing next to me and I guess heard our conversation about not knowing how to get a cab
Guy - You just kinda wave your hand, they will pull over to let you get in.
He starts to wave he hand nonchalantly at the road, a bright yellow cab pulls over about 1 minute later
Guy - There you go, have fun in New York!
And with that he walks away in the huge crowd of busy people. I yell thank you but I don't think he heard me. I look at Sarah to see her blushing
Elise - Sarah, you good?
She just looks at the crowd of people where the guy went.
