Fading

It was one Friday where I go to this church group to learn more about Jesus Christ and to have fun with friends. There she was, I saw her with a friend talking to him wanting to join their conversation. I walked up to her and said "hi". She responded "hi" back to me with a beautiful smile on her face. But then, she ended up walking off with him. I thought about it and maybe she has a crush on him.

A moment later, I saw her by herself thinking that it was my chance to go up to her so that I can start a conversation with her having it be our first time talking face to face. We talked a little bit and she said she wanted to go talk to her friends and while she was walking off, I pulled her bra strap thinking that it was funny. She turned around and her face looked like if she was really surprised. She seemed like if she didn't want anything to do with me because the first time, she walked off with a boy to go talk to him elsewhere. After, we were having a conversation but then tells me she wanted to go talk to her friends. Those two clues made me think as if she didn't want to talk to me.

When it was the end of the night, we got a ride home and we were assigned to the same car. When she was getting dropped off, I found out that she lives 5 blocks away from me. I was really surprised and thought that we can hang out here and there since we lived so closed to each other.

That night when I got home, I thought it'll be cool if I hit her up again to try to start another conversation. I was making fun of her saying that she has a crush on the boy that she was talking to earlier at church. She didn't deny it, but she tried dodging it. Then, I figured she did so I gave up my hopes on her and then faded from talking to her.
