********** 4 years later**********

"KKKKKKKAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!! Time to wake up" my ma said.

"Uuuurggg ,do I have too"? I said in a whisper trying to go back to my dream."

"Don't be giving me an attutied you know I have a half a mind to come up stairs and-"

" ok I get it I'll be their in 10 " I said as I went to get ready. Damn her super wolf hearing I thought to myself and headed to the restroom.

******10 minutes later*******

"HAAAPPPYYY BIRTHDAY AUNTY KATTY" my nephew Nike SCREAMED as he jumped at me to give me a hug.

"Will thank you Nicky-nick," I said "is that for me " I said as I saw a hand made card behind his back.

"Yesss, I hope you like it " he said with the puppy face at the end.

"I love it , hmmm it has a gift card for ice cream .... I wounded who I will split this with?" I said as I stated my tap my left foot.

" ooooh pick me , pick me" he said jumping up and down.

" ok just don't tell your mother. She's going to kill me if she finds out that I let you have ice cream . Again.....Come let's go down stairs" I said as he jumped on my back so I can give him a piggyback ride to the kitchen were I assume everyone was.

When we went down satires I was greeted with a big three-tier cake.

"Ahhh you shouldn't have " I said as I started to eat the cake.

"Will if you insis" Mike said as he tried to take the cake away and I almost bit him.

"Hey" I snap.

"Thanks mom for making for me" I said as I hugged her and kiss her on the cheek.

"You look very nice" my mom said.

I guess I did . I was wearing a black shirt with Audrey Hepburn face on it with dark blue skinny jeans . I put my brunet mermaid hair in fishtail braid and I color my finger nails a navy blue nail polish. I did put a winged eyeliner on which really made my brown eyes pop. Also I am wearing mascara and Chapstick and I was wearing black flats. So yeah, I guess I look nice.

" ok we have to go the alpha is calling us for a meeting" my mom said as she put her apron away. She was wearing a nice blue dress. Which really compliment her hour glass figure and her blond hair.

"Ok let's go" I said as I was taking my last bit of my cake and place Nick on my back and headed to the pack house with my family.

-------meeting house---------

"Good morning everyone " the alpha said.

"Good morning Alpha" we all sang.

"Today I have great news and some horrible news. Today step down as alpha and ----"

"What you can't do that, that unreasible, who else will let me nap in there and and--" I started to interrupt.

"Kat! let me finish first" the alpha said.

"Like as I was saying today is my last day as alpha. Your new alpha will be coming here tonight you all will be joining the moonlight pack" he said

" I reject" Kat yelled " why are you doing this."

"Kat I can't continue after losing Sara , but don't you worry the new alpha is nice, I heard" he said to me,looking in my eyes.

I can understand why he would step down. His mate Sara died three years a go giving birth to their newborn son who also died. So it amazed everyone that he lived so long with out her. I guess now since he found someone to run the pack he want to step down and go to Sara.

"Ok ,but will you came and eat with me for my birthday then?" I said with puppy face at the end, knowing he cannot resisted my mother cooking.

"Sure and one last thing the new alpha is looking for his mate so their will be a ball tonight please "

"We have a chance to be Luna" the whole group of un-mated females screamed and ran to get ready.

" dress to impress and yes their will be food, Kat." He said looking at me and sort of annoyed at the being innterupted.

"That is all, everyone dismiss" he said at last

The room cleared as the rest of the females rushed to get ready. And the rest were going out slowly or waiting to talk to the alpha.

"I'll save you some cake" I said

"Kat" the Alpha said.

"Yes"

"Be good tonight ok?"

"I will mister alpha. See you later, got to get ready" I said as I realized my mom was rushing to me to get me ready to hopefully find my mate.

" this is going to be fun" I said with a smirk.
