A girl and a zombie

Part 1

Welcome to seabrook!

We're a perfect plant comunity. We all have perfect homes, perfect clothes, perfect lives. Really everything was perfect. Until it wasn't. Who would have thought an accedent with lime soda would set off an appocolipse. Yes real live, brain eating zombies. Luckily humans put up a wall. Now the zombies and humans life different lifes. Zombies got now a band to help them control. They won't eat our brains now.

I'm Jade a normal girl that fits in perfect in our perfect human lifes. I have perfect long blond hair, gray green eyes and the perfect hight. The only thing different about me is that I think perfect is boring. Even though I still do my best to fit in.

Today is my first day at school. Seabrook High School. This is also the first year they let zombies go to school, just like us.

I get out of bed and go to my closhet finding the perfect outfit. Fast I change and do my hair and make up. I end up wearing a pastel pink off shoulder dress, white heels and a nice white necklage. My hair is only brushed and let hang like it wants. I'm never of much make up so I just put on a little mascara. When I'm done I get my backpack and go down. Because I always oversleep my parents make my lunch so I just get my sandwich. Before going out the door I kiss my parents on their cheek and call out a see you later.

I pick up my bike and ride to school. On my way I see a lot of people in a full dance and sing routine.

I roll my eyes and decide as they run to the beach I go on to school. I never really liked all those random dance and sing routines. Unlike everyone I don't even try out for cheerleading. I'm more of playing instuments so this year I am gonna try band. Don't get me wrong because I don't like those dance and songs I don't like music. It's my life! But I always been more of a background girl.

Okay I've been to deep in thoughts.. I already got to school in time. Don't want to be too late for my first day! I parked my bike and go sit on a nice pastel yellow seat infront of the school, enjoying the sun before sitting in a dark classroom all day. With my closed eyes I enjoyed the sun. It was not much later I heard a lot of people joining me infront of the school. When the people of earlier, that went to the beach to dance more, joined we started to dance. Yes I joined in then too because I don't want to stand out so much already on my first day.

As the bell started to ring the doors of the school opened. I walked to the door, only now seeing the barrier between us and the zombies. They don't look as scary as my parents told me. I strughed and kept walking. When I came by the door i saw Bucky, the cheer captain, making weird faces to the zombies. One snapped lightly, I complitly understand the zombie, he didn't do much but Bucky squeeked, very manly (not) may I add. I giggled and saw the zombies look at me confused. Fast I gave the one who scared Bucky a smile before a guard on that side stepped out and wanted to do something to him. Luckily an other stepped in and reasoned the guard that he wasn't gonna hurt us. Before I could see the end I was inside the school, stupid people pushing around.

I walk to my first class, History, take a seat near the back of the class. I get out my books and wait for the teacher to start.

Halfway through the class the zombie alarm got on. Everyone in my class started to panic and run around blind trying to get out as fast as possible. Screams now fill the halls. I walk out the class as last, yes even the teacher just ditched. As I get to the hallway the screams are even louder and coming from everywhere. Before I could even get to halfway the wallway someone runs into me knocking me to the ground.
