A girl and a zombie

Part 3

I wake up hearing my alarm. Groaning I stand up and start to get ready for a new schoolday. I jump into the shower. It's always so relaxing. When I get out of the shower I put on a towel and walk to my closeth. Today is the day of the peprally. Not that I need to do anything with it, but I get dressed nicely. I put my hair half up and half down and put on a little mascara.

I look at the clock and see I took again to much in my morning routine. I ran down, get my already made breakfast and kiss my parents goodbye. As I still ran I get my bike and climb on it to ride fast to school.

"Cheer season is here, cheerfollowers. So let's rally our cheerleaders at the pep rally today" The headmistress said through the speakers. I park my bike and walk up to the school. 

"Hey Addison" I say smiling as I see her standing close to the door talking to Bucky. 

"Oh hey Jade. How are you?" She ask smiling sending a last glare at Bucky. 

"I'm good thanks are you alright?"

"Yes just a little thing between us" she says and glares again to Bucky. Damn that guy is in trouble. I wonder what happened between them. Bucky walks off and I decide not to ask about it. Addison is a sweet girl but you don't want to make her mad.

"Are you ready for the cheer season?" I ask Addison.

She nod enthusiast "Yes I can't wait" I smile at her and nod. We have a small talk while walking to our classes. Sadly we had to part ways. I walk in to my class and sit in the back close to the window. My mind wonders the weirdest things. Not something new for me. I start to imagine my life if i was on the other side of the barrier. The zombie side. My mind keeps wondering off with the what if questions.

I suddenly get snapped out of my daydream by the teacher. She looks mad.. Oh shit. I look around the class and see that everyone has left. I curse under breath as the teacher says detention. Fast I take my stuff and walk to my next classes.

All my classes went really slow. Luckily for me I have lunch now. I meet up with Addison and Bree. We sit somewhere in the middle of the cafeteria. As we eat we hear the headmistress voice saying that from now on zombies could eat with us. Lots of people around us talk in annoyance about the news. I look at Addison as see her smile. We have some small talk and see the doors of the cafeteria open. The zombies start to walk in. I smile look at them as they look around in wonder.

I see the guy who scared Bucky on the first day again. Without noticing I stare and smile at him. The group of zombies get their food and sit in the most horrible space. It's in a corner with almost zero light and by the bumpers. As I start to feel sorry for them. I see a girl and a boy with a big smile sit down there. Maybe they like it that way?

"My pals are sweaty and my head is spinning" I hear Addison say with a sigh. Bree and I look at her shocked.

"Is it the flu?" Bree asked Addison.

"No it's Zed" she answered with a sigh. She's definitely in love. But she snaps out of it and think back of what she just said.

"You like a zombie?" Bree asks her. It's weird to think the good girl Addison would like a zombie.

"That's bad isn't it?" She says shocked. "Are we still friends?" She asks looking at me and Bree.

"Of course we're still friends no one can break that" I say with a big smile and give her a side hug over the table. After mine hug Bree nods and gives Addison a hug too. We giggle softly and start eating again.

"He probably won't even remember my name" Addison says a bit sad.

"Who kn-" I try to say until I got interrupted.

"Hey Addison" the whole cafeteria got quiet and looked at the zombie and the cheerleader. This is bad, I thought.

"I can't be rude can I?" Addison says before standing up and slowly but confident walking towards the zombie that called her name. As she gets by the table I look around and see Bucky looking red from anger glaring at those zombies. Not long after Addison is by the zombies the Acys come at her and pull her away from the zombie table. I can see them talk but I can't hear what they say. But I know that it wasn't very nice to Addison as she fast runs out of the cafeteria. Not long after one of the zombies stand up and go after her but not as fast. Probably not trying to make a scene. He's so sweet, the perfect guy for Addison.

Everyone is doing they're own business in the cafeteria. Bree is quiet eating her cupcake, to busy to notic I got up and took my stuff. I walk towards the other side of the cafeteria. Before noticing I got to the place I wanted.

"Hey"
