Pov Dipper

I'm seventeen now, I guess it's good. I was diagnosed depression, suicdal thoughts, anxiety which isn't fun, but hey I guess they finally noticed. We're finally coming back to Gravity Falls after all this time.

Mabel's in more happy and cheerful, she hasn't lost that side of her. Mabel did noticed the sudden change in me when we left this place, but my parents didn't. Mabel begged them if we could go back but the answer was no, until now. They finally agreed after all this time, I'll just probably be here my room. Just trying to forgive myself for what happened years ago. I just, I just could have tried.

Mabel keeps on jumping up and down in her seat, which is getting annoying. I will still do everything in my to protect Mabel, no matter what the sacrifice. Like always.

"DipDip were just seconds away to be back in Gravity Falls!" She screamed.
"You don't have to scream." I softly say.
"Sorry Bro, just like- aren't you excited." Mabel said.
"Yeah." I answered softly.
"Bro. " Mabel said claiming down her excitement.
"Yes. " I said.
"Nevermind." She said.

I already knew what she was going to say to me. "Dipper could you smile more" or "Dipper at least try to be excited or happy for once." I can't be happy, I can't even fake it anymore because she knows it's not true.

"I've just given up." I wanted to cry but I didn't.

I held my sleeves tight as I looked at the window, I can see the bus stop from here.

"Final stop!" The driver yelled.

We both grabbed our things and stepped off the bus. We can see our great uncles waiting for us. Ford was still dressed the same with Stan, I guess they didn't change.

I can also see Soos with a crying baby, Grenda and Candy. Mabel hugs her friends and then looks at the child.

"Who's this cutie pie." Mabel said.
"Dude, this is my daughter Aria, she's a bit of a hand-full today." Soos smiled.
"Can I try to cheer her up?" Mabel asked.
"Sure you can." Soos smiled.

Ford and Stan just smiled at Mabel and then looked at me.

"Kiddo! How are you doin'." Stan said.
"F-Fine. " I mumbled.
"You seem a bit off,  something the matter? " Ford said.
"I'm just fine." I said.
"You've grown since the last time I saw you." Stan said.
". . ."
"Dipper do you want to go find some creatures?" Ford asked.

I kind of zoned out for a few seconds because the cry of the child was all I could hear. Mabel was making Aria cry even more.

"Excuse me for a moment." I signed.

I walked over to Mabel and the rest of them and said hello. I asked if I can try because Mabel as already given up. Soos has no idea how to claim her down either, so I have to step in.

"It's impossible Dipper." Mabel said.

Mabel gave me the child and she looked at me while crying. I swayed her back and fourth slowly.

"It's alright Aria, shhh....shhh... It's alright. Let me tell you a story." I whispered to her

The tears slowly started to disappear as she looked at me. Her eyes were popping out to me, she was wondering what I was about to say next.
