The worst news I could have received.

Rose's P.O.V.:

Months had passed since Rose's last visit to Hogwarts.

I woke up and saw that Blaze was waiting for me with a parcel in her mouth, almost panicked. I got up and opened the letter reading it.

Dear Rose,

Hermione has been petrified by whatever is petrifying the others, she went to the library and that's where she was found. We need you here Rose. Please write back, we need you.

P.S.: Cedric misses you a lot, and so do I.

I began to cry as I heard my best friend has been petrified. I sank to the floor and cried harder and harder. I heard my door open, with Alexander, Leo, and Viktor on the other side. Viktor was the first to rush to my side while Leo went to go get me some water, so I could drink it. I handed Alexander the crumpled letter and saw his eyes go wide.

"Love hey, do you want me to go tell Karkoff? He needs to let you go," Alexander asked me and I nodded while crying.

"What happened Vose?" Viktor asked me.

"M-My f-friend g-got p-petrified a-and I-I need to g-go to H-Hogwarts," I told him while getting up and packing.

I packed lightly because it was getting warmer and I sat back down.

"Vose do you want zomeone to go vith you?" Viktor asked me concerned.

"No, I can't risk one of you getting hurt," I told him and Alexander came back.

"Karkoff said that he will contact Dumbledore and he'll set up a fire as soon as he gets word back," Alexander said.

"Thanks," I said while sighing, and hugging him.

"Are you sure you want to go alone Rose?" Alexander asked me, and I nodded.

"I should probably tell Noah," I told him while getting up and shooing them out.

They didn't know that Cedric's and my relationship wasn't real. I sighed and changed. I went to his dorm and knocked on his door.

"Noah?" I called out.

"Yeah come in Fleur," Noah said and I came in.

I locked the door behind me and he looked up.

"What's up?" He asked.

"I have to go to Hogwarts again. Hermione got p-petrified. I need to go alone," I told him and he got up.

He walked over to me and kissed me softly cupping my face, and I kissed back. He kissed my forehead.

"Be safe, okay? I'll miss you Fleur," He told me while smiling down at me.

"You know how safe I am," I said while smiling and looking back one last time before going back to my dorm, and grabbing my bags while Leo, Viktor, and Alexander escorted me to Karkoff's office.

"Guys I'll write to you okay?" I told them while we have a group hug. "And yes Leo I hope to be back before the Understle game."

He smiled and looked at me.

I spoke with Karkoff briefly and he nodded saying he would send my assignments with Blaze. I walked through the fire and landed in Dumbledore's office.

"Ah I wish I were seeing you under different circumstances, Lillian," Dumbledore told me and I smiled sadly.

"Me too Albus, me too," I told him while exiting and going to the Slytherin dorm.
