Chapter 8

(Your P.O.V.)

After that night Shu seemed to be acting very strange. He still hasn't told me what it was about. Every time I would ask he would make this face as if he just saw a ghost and just tell me "It's best if you don't know." But by the look on his face he gives every time I now feel like I shouldn't. It just worries me how different he's acting. Normally he would be very lazy, and not really want to do anything, and SLEEP. Now he's more alert, protective, and more aggressive to his brothers if they get too close. He even had gone to the office to get his class switched so he was in all my classes which I don't really have a problem with that  (more shu for me). It's just very weird how he just changed so suddenly. 

"Hey Shu?"

"Hmm?"

"Aren't you tired? You don't usually sleep as much, and you're starting to get bags under your eyes." Shu looked at me for a couple seconds only to just look away. He really is making me worry so much. Yeah he is more protective and alert, but whats the point of that if he barely eats and sleeps. He looked like he lost a couple pounds, and seeing him like this is breaking me.

"Yeah I'm fine Y/N. Just hurry and get ready so we can go to school." He didn't even look at me when he said that. I just looked away from him and started to get ready. When I came back from the bathroom I noticed that Shu was sleeping. 'He really is tired.' I thought to myself while slowly walking forward. I was pondering the fact whether I should wake him up or not. I want him to sleep, but Reiji will be very angry if we didn't go to school, and I dont know if Shu can be able to protect me for much longer. The closer I got the more I noticed his uneven breathing. After finally reaching him, I unbuttoned the top two buttons from my blouse revealing my whole right shoulder, and sat on Shu's lap. I moved a couple hair strands out of the way, and tried to wake him up peacefully. As he was slowly getting up he started to notice our positions. I can feel his gaze on me tense. I looked him in the eye and could tell what he wanted, which of course was my purpose. Yes he was weak but he still has urges that I know he tries to control.

"It's fine Shu."

"I don't know if I'll be able to stop."

"I know. But I'm fine if it's you. You can take as much as you need. All I want is for you to get better. So please." The last word I could hear my own voice crack. If Shu doesn't have something to eat/drink I don't know what could happen. Yeah he may be a vampire and he doesn't need to eat like us human's, but he still needs to drink blood to keep him going at least. He started to get up holding my by the waist. His face inches from my neck. I could feel his warm breath against my neck. I was barely able to decipher what he said before he bit into me. I was finally able to understand what he said, seconds after.

"Thank you Y/N."

(Shu P.O.V.)

I thanked her before biting into her. Her blood had a sweet taste to it. As I was biting into her I started pulling her closer to me. I know that she was soon not gonna have the energy to be able to hold herself up. This girl was definitely crazy. If she were to say that to any of my brothers, they wouldn't have had a second thought of killing her. Of course I could never bring myself to do that. I know she saw me way before I noticed her. She just seemed to not really have an interest in me. She never really joined the crowd of girls that always surrounded me and followed me to my classes. She was always daydreaming doing her own thing, or helping out someone in need. I noticed her because of all of this. Her kindness reminded me of Edgar. She always had a smile on her face till recently. I was soon pulled out of my thoughts when I felt Y/N clutching on my shirt. I pulled mouth away and looked at her. She immediately made direct eye contact with me.

"Good. It seems you are regaining your health." I could see her chest rising and lowering as she was taking deep breaths. I know I took a lot from her. Before I was able to say anything she cut me off. "I'm fine, I can handle it. Let's start heading out for school. I'll just take a nap in the car." She started to wobble as she was getting up. Before being able to take one step she fell. I caught her before she landed on the floor.

"You're not fine. We can just stay home." She looked like she was struggling just to keep her eyes opened.

"But-"

"No But's, Sleep NOW." I could tell that I didn't have to tell her twice, because her eye's already started closing. I walked over to the bed and placed her down laying down with her. I could tell from all that drinking blood was geting me tired and I fell asleep.

My eye's slowly started to open and I sat up. Once I turned my head took at Y/N I noticed that she wasn't there anymore.

"Shit."

(Your P.O.V.) 

After I woke up I noticed that I couldn't see anything and was surrounded by darkness. As i tried to sit up I noticed that something was holding me back. I kept struggling until I heard voices near.

"So you finally wake up. I thought I was gonna have to slap you awake." One voice said.

"Now, Now. We can't hurt her. If we want her blood to taste sweet we have to give her pleasure. The more she's aroused the sweeter it gets." I heard a sadistic voice right near my left ear. I tensed as I realized who the voices were coming from. 

"SHUUUUUU!" I then came to a realization again that my mouth was covered, restraining me from calling out for help. 

"Let's have some fun Bitch-chan."
