As she arrives at her house and texts her mom to make sure no ones home. She heads inside and sets her bags down in her old room. She looks around. The old floral bedsheets and pink curtains were making her feel like a kid again. She wondered what it would've been like if she hadn't left in the first place. She sat on the bed for about 5 minuets until her mom texted "where are you??"
"On my way. Sorry got a little held up." She got in her car that she left here, along with many other things, and drove to the restaurant.

She walked through the doors and the girl at the front asked if she had a reservation, she said no but she was supposed to meet someone here.
"Are you the girl that lady was looking for?"
"Most likely yes." She replied
"follow me." I followed her to the back of the restaurant and she gestured toward my family's table. I started to feel a wave of anxiety coming over her. "What if they didn't want me to come back? What if they hated me for leaving?" She thought. Before she could turn and run she felt something hit her in the stomach. It was her sister, she was so happy that she practically threw herself at Charlie.
"You're here! You're actually here!" She was crying.
"No no stop don't cry. Please you're gonna make me cry too."
"Sorry I'm just so happy. When'd you get here? How? Why'd you come back? Why'd you leave? How's New York?" All the questions came flooding at her "Isabelle, calm down. I'll answer all of your questions after dinner." She finally calmed down. She walked over to the table and gave her mom and dad hugs. The last words she'd said to her dad were I hate you she didn't mean it but it's what she said.

They spent the whole dinner talking and laughing about how life had been since she'd left. Then she dropped a bomb. Why she left.
"I just felt like you guys fit in here, this town. It's perfect for you. I feel so... out of place here. No one really liked me here but everyone loves you guys." She said in a really sad tone. Her parents tried to convince her she did fit in and she fit with this family, Isabelle just cried, for absolutely no reason.
"What time is it mom?" She asked
"oh crap Izzy you have school tomorrow don't you?"
"Yeah I don't get off until tomorrow."
"We need to go. It's really late." She called over the waiter paid the bill and her mom, Dad and Izzy all piled in their car. Charlie followed them in hers and after 20 minuets of driving they're back at the house.
