After
Light.
The door exposed light and your body is shadow form.
I had to squint to see you.
I had been in the same room for what felt like days. Maybe weeks.
I looked around at the room that used to be pitch black.
I'd felt around the room in the dark before and found a bed, dresser and chair. That was it.
No toilet or anything. But I didn't expect there to be. This was no luxury resort and neither was your head by the looks of things.
You asked me if I needed to pee.
I nodded and you blindfolded me.
You pulled me to the bathroom and shoved me in.
At least you had the courtesy to leave me alone in there, well, until I was done.. You came back in after what felt like a minute and took me back to my weakness, my new home, the pitch black room. You closed the door behind you and pulled a cord which made light appear above me. You stared at me and I stared back as you moved closer towards me, hovering over my neck. I silently shook as a tear escaped.
You looked at me with that look, the calculating one I used watch in the only class we'd had together. Fear and hatred rose inside me and I glared at you.
You shrugged and turned away calling over your shoulder.
"We'll try again tomorrow"
