Indulging The Fire [Katsuki Bakugou x Reader]

Chapter 6

“.89 seconds!”

The students chatting died down one by one. To the point where only the sound of rustling leaves could be heard. But soon afterwards the air was then filled with loud voices.

“Wow!”

“…”

“Did you see that!?”

“Uh, can someone tell me what just happened?”

Aizawa stared at the boy. Hm interesting, teleportation is a rare quirk. But it won’t help him in most of the tests.

Only a second had passed but Kaji was standing at the finish line, staring at his sister. She was still only about a quarter of the way down the lane blasting water out of her feet, using it to slide across the ground. After a few more seconds, she finally passed the finish line and stopped a few feet from it.

“5.15 seconds!” The machine announced. The robot sounded feminine and perky. Maybe to make people feel better in case their scores were bad.

Once her feet were firmly on the ground, Y/N bent down. Her hair following suit with the rest of her body. Her fingers plucked her shoes off and she rung them out in her hand as gently as possible. She wasn’t planning on using her quirk today, especially in her feet, so she wasn’t wearing shoes that work well with water. I hope they’re not messed up from this. She sighed, saving up for those shoes took a while.

Y/N turned and looked at her brother. He lifted his arm waving her over to follow him back to the rest of students.

“Dude, that was awesome. What's your quirk?” asked Kirishima.

“Yeah! I wanna be that fast” Ashido added while hopping up and down in excitement.

Soon, Kaji was swarmed. He looked uncomfortable and soon locked eyes with his sister. In return, she smiled deviously and gave a thumbs up. This is for black mailing me this morning for my laptop. His eyes widened before settling into a glare. 

She would attempt to pry him free in a bit. However in the mean time, her eyes landed on Midoriya who was busy muttering to himself.

Y/N had gotten the chance over the last two months to talk to him a bit and catch up on stuff she had missed. But in those two months she hadn’t had a chance to talk to Bakugou at all.

Her eyes naturally wandered over to the source of her thoughts. The hot head wasn’t talking to anyone and was standing off by himself. His jaw was locked in place and his lips were pressed into a flat line.

“Katsuki” she called out to him, walking towards him.

He twisted his neck to look at her. The annoyed expression still on his face.

“What dipshit?”

She pointed her index finger at him and rotated it in a circle.

“Get your stupid finger out of my face.”  He roughly smacked her hand away.

“What’s going on with your face today? You seem more peeved than usual.”

“Go die.”

“Geez is this about your throw earlier?”

He stiffened. His fingers twitched and his pupils shrunk in size.

Bingo, he is upset about that.
