Elsa POV

Anna helps me down out of the wagon and we head towards wear Hans is to be buried.  She locks her arm with mine again while we walk to the grave.

Everyone takes a seat and one of Hans's brothers stands in front to speak.

"Hans was a good man.  A truthful man.  A loving man and also caring man.  What happened to him that day was undeserving.  He took the ultimate sacrifice to save someone.  He put his own life on the line for Anna.  Although we all know Hans is in a better place now we still can't help but miss him.  Thank you for listening.  Next Elsa would like to speak to you." Hans's brother says once everyone is seated.

"What I didn't plan anything." I whisper to Anna.

"It doesn't matter just go up there." she urges me.

"Fine." I sigh.

I walk up to the podium and adjust the microphone before speaking.

"Hans was a unique man, I had never met anyone like him before.  He was very passionate about what he loved.   I think here today we need to honor him.  Not thinking about his mistakes because every one has mistakes.  We need to only think about the good things he did while he was alive.  He was a friend, a lover, a teacher and a leader.  Personally I knew him well, I knew his secrets I knew his fears and his passions.  One of my mistakes was not realizing what I had until it was gone.  Yes I did love Hans but I didn't show it enough and that led me the wrong direction.  Thank you for listening.  May Hans rest in peace..." I say my speech rather slowly.

A couple more people talk that I don't recognize and then we start the burial ceremony.

The ceremony consists of the closest loved one of Hans putting a shovel full of dirt into the grave.  Then everyone takes a turn putting sentimental items in the grave.  After that is finished everyone takes a turn putting dirt back into the grave until he is buried.

I didn't expect it but they have me put the first scoop if dirt in.

I walk up to the grave with a shovel full of dirt, my hands shake uncontrollably so I take a deep breath.  My deep breaths do nothing to help and the rest of my body begins to shake.  Tears build up in my eyes and slide down my cheeks.  I quickly throw the dirt in his grave and hurry back to my seat.

We finish the ceremony and have a fancy dinner back at the castle with everyone from the funeral.

I don't stay long at the dinner I just scarf down my food and go to my room.

Later Anna comes in to see me after the dinner.

"How are you doing Elsa?" she asks softly, entering my room.

"I'm fine." I mumble.

"Elsa?" she asks again.

"What?" I snap.

"Your not okay." she says.

"Yes. I. Am." I say growing angry.

She walks yo my bed and sits on the edge of it.

"Elsa you have me... I'm still here." she whimpers.

"Yeah I know." I reply.

"Then why don't you talk to me about it?" she asks.

"There is nothing to talk about." I answer

"Really? There is nothing to talk about even though someone you were in love with just died." she says.

Tears roll down my cheeks again and she notices immediately.  I sit up in my bed and meet her embrace as she listens to my sobs.

"It's okay." she says "I'm right here."

I cry for what seems like hours before I lay down and go to sleep.  Anna stays at the end of my bed until I'm sound asleep.

(Dream)

I'm in the middle of the garden sitting on the bench by the marigolds and Hans appears in front of me.

"Hi Elsa." he says in mono tone.

"Hans!" I scream jumping into his embrace.

He pushes me if of him and I fall to the cement.

"Ow what was that for?" I ask.

"I don't hug cheaters." he replies.

"What?" I ask.

"You cheated on me ." he repeats.

"You... You said you forgave me..." I reply.

"Why didn't you save me Elsa?" he asks.

"I couldn't I was-" I try and say but he cuts me off.

"You didn't want to did you? You never loved me." he snaps.

"No I did I loved-"  I try to say.

"No you didn't." he says.

All if the sudden 5 more Hanss appear around me repeating "You never loved me."

I run from all of them and into the castle where another Hans is waiting

"You never loved me." he says.

I run into the kitchen where another Hans is saying the same thing.

I try everywhere in the castle but he is everywhere.  Three of them surround my repeating "You never loved me."

One pulls out a gun, pointing it to my heart and says "So you'll die like me!" He pulls the trigger

(End of dream)

"Ahhhhhhh!" I wake up screaming and immediately after Anna comes running in my room.

"Are you okay?" she asks hugging me.

"It was just a dream." I answer.

"Do you want me to stay in here?" she asks

I nod while tears roll down my cheeks and she lays beside me.

This time I go to sleep with no dreams.

Time lapse of 2 years

It took me nearly a year and a half for the dreams to stop.  I met someone after a year who helped me with the nightmares.  He was a farmer boy so I didnt tell anyone about him for nearly 5 months.  His name is Beckett Porter and he is very kind.  I will never fully get over losing Hans but Porter (I call him by his last name) is willing to accept that.
