Joshie woke up and quickly got out of bed. It was the start of her sophomore year and she needed to see her best friend again. They hadn't talked for three months, and Joshie felt so lost without her. It's always for her. That one special person that Joshie would do anything for, Skye. Always, always Skye. Joshie doesn't even know why she does it. Ever since Joshie met her back in 3rd grade, she's been obsessed and now she constantly needs to be with her. Joshie has never been this interested with someone before. She's normally quiet, strict, and isolates herself from others. She put on a white t-shirt, a pair of black skinny jeans, and white converse then went to brush her teeth and short blonde hair. Joshie grabbed her backpack and her favorite dark navy blue hoodie that Skye left at her house one time, then walked out the door without even telling her mother "goodbye".
She quickly walked over to Skye's house, not caring about the time or the other people around her. She just wants to see her friend and nothing but that matters. Joshie turned a corner and finally saw her. Skye was looking down, like always, and Joshie walked up to her.
"You should look up once in a while." Joshie calmly said.
Skye looked at her and rubbed her eyes, "Jo?"
"Yeah?" Joshie blushed at the nickname Skye gave her long ago, loving how she said it so smoothly.
"Oh, um, hi. How are you?" Skye gently smiled and fixed her beautiful black hair.
Jo hugged Skye gently, "I missed you."
Skye hugged back and softly patted Jo's head."I missed you too. Uh, it's been a while."
"Yup." Jo replied and let go, "We're gonna be late, Skye."
"Oh. Okay. Let's go then?" Skye said confused and walked off with her friend.
