PAIGE'S POV
Me and Chloe sat inside Point Brugge
Café, I sipped my coffee and took bites
out of crispy pieces of bread. Chloe took
out a book and I took out my phone. I
hadn't touched the Instagram app since
I found Violet. I still had my court case
but maybe after that, things can go
back to the way they used to be. But
Dad and Mom would probably be
separated because in order to win the
case I would have to say I had a twin.
Me and Brooke would probably stop
talking, and Josh would be in his room
all day because he just can't cope with
this situation. So things would
probably never be the way they used to
be, so I just have to accept that. "Chloe,
I need to keep my parents together." I
told her, "Paige, you know that in order
to win the case you are going to reveal
you have, I mean had a twin. Once your
dad finds out he will ask your mom,
and she will probably spill out all the
secrets and lies." " I can't, I won't. I'll
just go to jail for murder. I don't want
my Dad gone, I need them to be
together. After everything, I just need
that." I said. Chloe stared at me, I knew
I would go to jail, but maybe it's just
better that way. "Your really not gonna
tell them. Wow. Just go to jail?! Why?"
Chloe asked, "Why not. Jail is better
than the life I'm living now." I said.
Chloe got up and walked out. I got up
and followed her out, "Where are you
going??" I asked. "I'm going to see
Maddie in the hospital." She said. "I'm
coming." She opened her car door and I
got in the front seat, and took out my
phone. I scrolled through my contacts
and clicked on Brandon, he must be
broken. His sister had just died, and
now his friend too. Did he even know
Violet was dead? They didn't put it on
the news because no one new Violet
existed. All the fire department found
was a charred skeleton, it's not like
they could do DNA tests. I dialed his
number, it rang 6 times and no one
answered, what wasn't he picking up?!
