Finding Violet

Chapter 8

Paige's POV

Matt stared at my wrist as it dripped blood, I got out and slammed the car door running back to

the ALDC. But as I was running back a wet cloth hit my mouth, it tasted toxic and my head started

to feel heavy then I fell asleep. I woke up in the back seat of a car with my legs and hands tied by a

rope, my mouth wasn't covered "What the..." Suddenly my eyes widened when I saw a man with

dirty blond hair in the front seat, I was being kidnapped. "Please, no no no! This isn't happening!

Why are you doing this!!? I screamed, "SHUTUP Violet!" He yelled angrily. Violet? He was trying

to kidnap Violet? "No, I'm not Violet! I'm not her! I'm her twin sister!" I yelled hoping he would

believe me. He pressed the break and my head hit the seat, my cut had stopped bleeding. He got

out of the car and opened my door staring at me, "Twin?" He asked. "Yes! Look at my eyes, if you

knew Violet then you know that her eyes are hazel, but mine are blue!" I said, he stared into my

eyes and I looked into his, he had the exact same color eyes as me. I looked at his face, why did he

look like me? "Paige." He said shocked. "Yes, I'm Paige!" I said happy he knows, but then he shut

the door and got back in the front and continued driving, "Where the hell are you taking me?!" I

yelled! "Where no one will find us."

Violet's POV

I sat on a bench outside the mall, when my phone vibrated. I took it out of my pocket and saw it

was an Amber Alert, my eyes widened when I saw the name Paige Hyland. I read it and realized

Paige had been kidnapped, they had sent search parties out for her but she was no where to be

found. How was I supposed to feel? I hated Paige but my eyes were teary, I didn't want her gone. I

thought of how worried her family must be, what if she was dead. I tried not to think about it, but

when I heard sirens I shot up looking around, a police car pulled into the mall parking lot. A man

ran out of it, he was running towards me. Then I realized that I looked exactly like Paige, they must

think I'm her! I was about to run when the police grabbed me, "Paige Hyland! Are you okay?!" He

asked, I couldn't think of anything to do so I just nodded. He spoke into his walkie talkie letting the

rest of the police know that he had found her. Oh no, they thought I was Paige, I would have to live

with her family! There was nothing I could do about it, my biological father had my birth certificate

so I couldn't prove I wasn't Paige. They brought me to the police station where Brooke, some blond

boy probably her brother, and her parents were. Brooke ran to me when she saw me and threw her

arms around me, I hugged her back remembering she was my sister. But then I remembered that I

Brandon had cheated on her with me and it felt weird hugging her. A boy came and hugged

me too , he must be my brother. His hat said Josh on it, then my parents came and hugged me the

longest, I looked at Paige's mom, she looked like me but not the dad. "We were worried sick about
