{Ch- 22} Yours Truly Caretaker

As soon we came out of the court, Navya hugged me tightly patting my head as if assuring me that she will not leave me ever. I'm so honored to have her in my life.

"Hum bata nhi sakte Nandini ki hum kitne khush hai aaj." She said and after that broke the hug "Today finally you got rid of that beast."

I smiled weakly looking away when my eyes fell upon him who was talking with my advocate who did the divorce formality. I was going to shift my gaze when his eyes caught mine. He smiled precisely but ignoring him I made my move toward the taxi with Navya's support as my foot were still not recovered by its inner injury.
Navya opened the taxi's door for me when suddenly from no where Manik came and held the door blocking my way inside the taxi.

"You are not going with this" he announced vividly but before I could snarl him back, Navya asked astonishingly "Excuse me?? "

"Excused Madam" Cabir came in between making Manik leave the Taxi's door and holding Navya's hand he took her away with him not before telling Manik "Now continue"

I mean.. Whatever!!

Chucking the scene I opened the door to sit but stumbled "Nandini!!" but Manik held me "Why are you so stubborn all the time haa? Ek baari meri baat maan nhi sakti naa tum? Me keh rha hu you are not going with this taxi then you are not."

"And who do you think you are Mr. Malhotra?" I barked back as his hands were still clutching mine "Yours Truly Caretaker."

And in another swift I was carried away in his arm like my weight doesn't matters to him. I did whatsoever I could do at the moment. Like slapping, punching, smacking and scratching his arms but nothing affected him.
Strong duh!!

Opening HIS car, he made me sit on the passenger sit and sat beside on the driver sit quickly not before pressing the child lock button for the passenger sit's door. He is pathetic seriously. Does he thinks of me as Reenu that I would jump out of the car.

"You are more like than Raina, Ms. Murthy and no wonder you can jump out of the car so, why taking chance" he winked teasing me like instinct while I puffed and huffed in annoyance looking out of the window.

Yes, its true that now HE IS MINE AND RAINA'S CARETAKER.

I so so so hate Appa for this. I mean when we could have hired a nurse then what need to keep HIM as our caretaker. Not even this, he is now allowed to stay up in the house till late night until I don't get well . I mean I don't understand this.
Yeah, I know I have lost my PREVIOUS job and all thanks to the jerk sitting beside me that now I don't have enough money left with me except the savings which is now expended in mine and Reenu's medicines.

And on the top of that the blunder happened at the day when I and Reenu got discharge from the hospital.

"Arrey chor maara saaman!! Kit le jaa rha hai re chora. Tu maare se puche bagair maare ghar me ghusa kaise? Me police me sikayat darz karungi." We saw Amma screaming and yelling at the peoples who were throwing our things out of the house.

Navya quickly ran up to me as soon she saw us "Nandu dekh na yeh hume ghar se nikaal rhe hai."

"Ghar se nikaal rhe hai? Matlab? Kya bol rhi ho Navya?" I asked worriedly when Nyonika came in the scene.
