I emerge from the car to the crisp January air. I started getting nervous. I didn't know what this was, or who was going to be there. This, this nervousness inside me was the emotions of attending, "Connections." I was just expecting nerds with the peculiar glasses and irritating voice. Turns out, my theories were proven incorrect. I look around. There are people just like me! I seemed to calm as if weight was lifted off my shoulders. We were divided into groups and we're told to make a group name, and greet each other. My eyes instantly noticed the pretty girl with a glowing white and black sweater diagonally across from me. I waited until I heard her name. I began to think of what it could be. Then I seemed to blank out then hear the name, "Janessa." Janessa. I began to ponder the spelling and she noticed my fumbling. "J-a-n-e-s-s-a" her sweet voice said. I smirked as my face turned red. Then it was time for stations. We went to various skilled sessions, and I began to notice how beautiful she was. Her bright shimmering hair radiated against the light. Honestly, she took my breath away. After lunch, it was time for our last station. The acting station. We began doing scenes together, and became a real hit. As we left, I somehow managed to get her number! Janessa's Number! I headed out the door silently hiding my excitement. As I chatted with my mom in the car, I told her about this dream girl I met at a nerd camp today. She smiled as she realized her twelve year old son had fallen instantly in love.
