I finally made it home. As I was entering my home, I thought, would she actually respond? I greatly doubted that a guy like me would somehow get the girl of his dreams. I jumped onto my bed with a sigh of relief. I unlocked my phone and typed in her number. I took in a deep breath, and typed. Before I knew it, there was a reply. She had replied! I didn't know what to say next, but I somehow typed the words. We talked all afternoon. Then I heard something that could end everything. She had a boyfriend. She began chatting about this guy. She had been with him for a whole year. I began to think this was something I shouldn't interfere with, but then she said, "We are going through rough times." I tried being as sweet as I could to help her through the hard times. It was around eleven at night when I noticed she hadn't responded to the previous text. I assumed she was asleep and sent her a goodnight text. The text included what I thought was pretty smooth. It said how she had changed everything. I told her I had forgotten my past today and I couldn't wait to write a story of our lives together. This would be my story to her. The story that I promised her five months ago. I realize as I type this, the love of my life, Janessa will read it. Someday we will look back on this book as a remembrance. A remembrance of how we met. How it all started. January 17th, 2014
