choices he made
In the cool morning of August, Wesley Sate sat purched on the edge of a cliff that looked off to the wide spread of the dull blue. Clouds hovered close to the ground, shadowing the bay in a grey abyss. Lost in his thoughts, he didn't hear the sound of approaching footsteps.
"Wes".
He looked up quickly, locking eyes with brown doe ones. Dark haired and tall, his friend, Lewis, towered over him, a calm expression on his sharp features.
"You alright, mate?"
Wesley smiled. "Yeah, I'm oddly grand".
Lewis sat down at the rocky surface with him, looking on at the distant view. Silent they were for a while, letting the minutes tick by in a slow daze.
Wesley didn't say anything for a while. "Uni".
"I thought you weren't going to worry about it. I mean, its nothing new, really".
"I know it's nothng new, Lew-"
"How long have you been waiting to say that?"
Groaning in annoyance, Wes pushed Lewis's shoulder jokingly, smiling.
"No, seriously. I'm just worried-"
"About Annaliese?"
Wesley starred at his friend for a few moments.
"I like my choices", he said finally. "I hope she likes hers".
(A/N): What is this rubbish!? (literally number eight was like the most trouble I've had on this challenge so far! Nothing would work!) (sorry for grammer errors, but for this embarrasment of any kind of writing, I could REALLY care less)
(The last dialogue/quote belongs to John Green)
