"We have three special guests here today. Melissa Benoist, Christopher Wood, and Hanna Mangan Lawrence are here together to tell the a new side of their world wind of a relationship and how they are coping and their plans for taking action against a certain someone" the news anchor said. The cameras turned over to them. The trio gave weary and tired smiles.
"Are you guys OK?" The news anchor said taking them by surprise. She was being very nice to them, something they didn't expect.
"We are fine, coping I guess" Melissa answered honestly. All this had taking a huge toll on them. The mean comments from their fans, expressing that they felt betrayed and couldn't understand what was happening. Melissa especially was hurt by this. She had worked so hard to gain and keep the fans trust, she felt she was losing them.
"Well first of all I think we should address what everyone is thinking. What is going on? One minute you hate each other and the next you are all together, and actually supporting each other. What happened?" The news anchor started trying to be gentle as possible.
Melissa and Chris had become very protective of Hanna, and would try and shield her from everything that was going on. That was why both of them very sitting on either side of her and holding her hands. They looked at each other before Chris leaned over and whispered in her ear.
"You can do this"
"Um first want to warn everyone. If their are young kids, make sure you are comfortable for your child to see this" Hanna first warned into the camera and then looked at the news anchor.
"The reason I did all that I did was...um" water welled up in Hanna's eyes. Melissa and Chris quickly rubbed her back and tried to confort her the best they could.
"I was forced by Blake Jenner" Hanna revealed leaving everyone in shock.
"What do you mean by forced?"
"I mean I was raped, drugged, beaten, and manipulated by him." Hanna said fighting the urge to burst into tears.
"I never wanted any of this." I Hanna muttered quietly
"All of this happened when the test results were leaked revealing, that I wasn't the father of Hanna's baby. We called Hanna, speculating that she had something to do with it but she was as shocked as all of us were." Chris started explaining.
"I took Chris's phone from him and talked to Hanna. I recognized something in her voice. I knew what she was going through because I went through the same thing. Blake is very manipulative and he used to mentally abuse me but it never got physically." Melissa continued wanting to finally tell the truth, after so many years.
"Hanna wasn't that lucky" Chris's eyes harden at the memory
"When they found me I was a mess and I had bruises all over by body. It was horrible"
"She had fresh bruises on her wrists left by Blake when we found her" Chris said with an ice cold voice.
"I explained everything to them and they saved me from my prison, they saved me from hell."
"I know a lot of people will think 'she is an actress, she is making all of this up', well she is not. Hanna was brave enough and she recorded and documented everything that happened to her and know we have all the proof we need to continue with what we want to do." Melissa smirked as she remembered her lawyer's voice, explaining what will happen to him.
"They were hiding me in their house for weeks until today. They saved my baby and eternally grateful." Hanna smiled at them
"And may I ask, what will you do?" The anchor asked
"We are going to file charges for domestic abuse and rape" Hanna answered and she could've sworn she saw a smile across the anchor's face but she quickly hid it.
"We have already talked to the police and right know Blake Jenner is a fugitive because the police can't find him" Chris continued, a new type of protectiveness and confidence came over him and at that moment he swore to himself, he wasn't going to let anything happen to Melissa, Hanna or his godson.
"I must say that you guys are incredibly brave and strong for sharing your story and coming here together." The anchor continued and the three smiled.
To them they had just revealed something that lifted a huge weight from their shoulders, but to him, they had just ruined his life. He was currently in a rundown motel, rage spreading through his entire body as he got everything he had taken with him, and drove off in car that he stole. He drove off trying to get away and hopefully disappear.
Oh was he wrong.
