Chapter 2

I woke up the next day in an awful mood knowing that I had to start school.  You would think I've gotten used to going to new schools by the amount I have been to but no.  It always sucks.  I'm always the freaky new kid.  Anyways I got dressed and all that jazz and went downstairs for breakfast.  Everyone was running around getting things together except for Cameron who was sitting at the table eating cereal.  I decided to join her.  "Hannah.  You can go ahead and help yourself." she said.  I nodded and went to the cupboard. I got some cereal and went to sit next to her.  "You nervous?"  "Wouldn't you be?", I replied.  "I guess.  Well I'll make sure the twins help you out."  Great.  Now I had to spend the day with two obnoxious twins.  We continued to eat our cereal in silence.  Finally Lisa drove us all to school.

"Ok guys be good.  And boys make sure to help Hannah out!"  "Yes Mom."  They said in unison.  Then she left.  I looked over at the twins and gave them a look that said, let's get going!  But then Ethan said, "Well I gotta go.  Good luck G!"  He then punched Grayson and ran off.  Wow.  What a guy.  "Well I guess it's just you and me."  Grayson said.  

First he took me to the office to get all of my information.  And just my luck I had all the same classes as Grayson.  I got my locker and all that other fun stuff.  Then we got excused for Grayson to give me a tour of the school.  Which was just as boring as school itself.  Finally we finished and it was time for lunch.  Of course I had no one to sit with.  So I just found an empty table and ate my lunch alone.

The day finally ended after a long ass day.  I decided to walk home because the house wasn't that far.  And yes, Grayson came too.  We pretty much walked in silence until I heard shouting from behind me.  It was a boy.  He was screaming at me.  He was saying awful and disgusting things like, "Wow look at that ass!" and "Wow I really wish I could get me some of that!"  I felt embarrassed and felt horrible.  Then Grayson said "Hey dude!  Shut the hell up before I come over there and make you!"  The boy then stopped and walked the other way.  Wow.  Did Grayson really stand up for me?  We walked on a little when I finally said something.  "Thanks."  "For what?" Grayson asked.  "For sticking up for me."  "What you think I'm just gonna let that kid yell all those hurtful things?  I'm not a monster."  I laughed a little.  "And for not ditching me like Ethan did."  "Yeah well that's E.  One minute he's cool but then the next he's an ass."  I laughed again.  He was kinda funny.  By this point we were on the porch of our house.  Then before walking inside he said, "You should smile more.  It suits you."  Then he walked inside the house.
