A seventeen year old girl locked in a cell in juvy. Can you believe it? I've have done a lot of bad things to get me stuck in here. Living in a small town means practially eveyone knows who you are. You see I've never had a place before that I can call home. I've been pushed around in different foster home since my parents gave me away. Since I'm not a little kid anymore that ruins my chance of ever getting a home of my own. The only thing close to a home is my jail cell. I've been here for maybe about a year. Let me tell you it's not the greatest place to be. You always have to be tough and never let your guard down because that's when they might get you. So far I haven't made any allies here, but I made plenty of enemies---to much to count--.I've been in so many fights, but that makes me stronger.
"Get up,"said the guard.
"What for,'Jeyllina said.
"Just do it."
I've heard stories about the guards and how they do horrible stuff to the prisoner when they get settled. No one tells because we all know that between a guard and prisoners words who they will chose to believe. So far it hasn't happen to me and I wasn't going to make today the day it was. I stood up with my fingers crunched up together in a shape of a fist.
"You're finally getting out of this place.Good riddance. Take all of your stuff on your way out."
"Where am I going to go. This is practially my home."
"Not my concern."
"Jack***"
"What you say!"
"Oh nothing."
"Look there should be somebody at the front waiting for you."
'Who is it?"
"Your temporary guardian.Have fun with him."he said in a sarcastic way then walked away.
"Whatever."
