Chapter 26

I woke up in a lot of pain and I groaned. I held my head as I slowly got up and I squeezed my eyes shut.

I also had a brace on my wrist yay.

I get up slowly and walk downstairs to see Jason still sleeping. I started making breakfast when I hear him get up.

"Hey you aren't suppose to be doing anything!" he said.

He took everything out of my hands and picked me up gently placing me on the counter.

"I'll make it" he smiled.

I nodded and watched him struggle to make eggs but he ended up burning it.

"I'll just have cereal" he sighed.

I giggled and watched him pour his cereal then he flashed me a smile.

He started eating it and he held up his spoon.

"Want some?" he asked.

"Sure" I shrugged.

He fed me it as I stared at him. He looked so concentrated and I accidentally spit my cereal in his face.

"I'm so sorry!" I giggled.

He wiped it with a towel and he glared at me playfully.

"This is what happens when I try to be nice" he sighed.

I just laughed again and ate his cereal as he cleaned himself up.

"Want to chill at my house?" he asked.

"Sure" I said.

He helped me off the counter and I walked slowly to his car as he took his backpack with him.

When he arrived his dog tackled me to the ground and I groaned.

"Sorry!" he said.

He helped me up and I held my head.

"I'm good" I mumbled.

He shot me a smile and I saw his mom come rushing in.

"I washed all your clothes honey! You should be all set" she smiled.

"Jason you made her do my laundry?!" I asked.

"Well yeah, I can't do laundry" he laughed.

"I would have done it myself" I groaned.

I looked at his mom and she was giving me a questioning look.

"I'm sorry you had to do that" I sighed.

"No it's ok! It really wasn't a bother" she smiled at me again.

"Ok, well in that case thank you" I said.

"Anytime" she said and walked off.

I smacked Jason and laughed while walking to the couch and laid down.

"What do you want to do?" he asked.

I just shrugged and turned towards the tv.

"Movie it is" he laughed.

He put on Finding Nemo cause we are extremely childish and he laid down next to me.

I turned so I was laying on his shoulder and continued watching the movie.

He then moved me gently so I was now on his chest and I blushed.

I really like Jason. Like a lot. Not as friend though, more than that.

He wouldn't like me though, he likes girls who are pretty, who don't have family problems and who don't live in a shack.

But he is extremely sweet to me and that's what I like about him. I can be myself around him without worrying people will judge/hate me.

I smiled at the thought and cuddled up more into him.

"You are very cute when you are thinking" he said.

I looked up at him and he was just staring at me.

"You were looking at me the whole time?" I asked.

"Yup. But might I say you are very cute with that thinking face of yours" he laughed.

I blushed because that was cute but embarrassing at the same time.

I hid my face in his chest but he pulled it out so I was facing him.

"Don't hide you are gorgeous" he whispered.

I smiled at him and we continued watching the movie.

"Spring Formal is in a month you know" he said.

"Yeah, I see posters everywhere" I sighed.

"Don't you wanna go?" he questioned.

"I do but it's just the only dress I have is my mom's prom dress that I planned on wearing to my prom" I mumbled.

"Just wear that. You will look beautiful twice" he smiled.

"What about my shoes? I have no more money left" I sighed.

"Just wear your converse. You will look great and no one will look at your shoes" he said.

I nodded and his mom came in and brought us some drinks and snacks and I giggled silently.

I wish this moment would last forever.
